If i have to choose, LoL.
Simply less tedious, especially with DotA's annoying focus on last hitting even friendly creeps, though maybe they have changed that.
I also appreciate LoL's greater focus on ability-usage.

I much prefer LoL for a casual experience as Dota 2 requires (in my opinion) greater levels of thinking that league doesnt require. Some examples are creep pulling, jungle stacking, TP being more available hence ganking is a constant threat, heavy emphasis on supports to ward, and many more.
