Hunter Explosive shot dots stack (Need Sources) [5.4.8]

As much as i know in 5.4.8 (MOP) you can spam Explosive Shot if you have Lock and Load buff on and lost dots will stack on last dots. SO you will not lose any in fin dmg.

Is there any official link or quote from Blizzard employe about this hotfix? A Archive link or old battle.net link would be good too.

He's probably playing a MoP private server or it came up in a forum argument.

I know for sure in cata you had to either wait, or weave in an arcane shot or you would lose the last tick. I think they made it do the "full dps" in mop though.
