Too many foods are overly sweet now. Heck, there isn't a mainstream jerky you can buy anymore that isn't loaded with sugar. Bring back other flavors.

Idk if it's that unpopular but pasta kinda sucks lol. I don't hate it by any means its just not something I am ever dying to eat. I know people who lose their shit over pasta and I just don't get it lol

I legitimately do not think people ought to eat certain dishes outside of the region where they are best enjoyed. I have traveled extensively, mostly to eat frankly. And I have eaten great food in diners, cafes, food trucks, backyards, forest cabins (legit), camp sites, Michelin starred restaurants, and everything in between- I worked at a Michelin starred restaurant.

I am totally serious in saying pizza should never be enjoyed outside of New York City, Naples, and Chicago. I am only giving the latter a pass shakily too.

For the most part, pizza is a goddamn wreck everywhere else. I think it is both a disservice and insult someone in Ohio or Belgium is eating a pizza right now.

I am very serious about this and was going to write a travel cookbook about it at one point in my life. The popularity of pizza has led people to think everyone ought to enjoy it whenever, wherever, and however. This is not a viewpoint I share or respect. They deserve nothing.

Ham and pineapple is my fav combo on pizza. Throw some bacon on and I have a triple foodgazm. Best ham and pineapple pizza I've eaten was in Crete.

Fish balls with white sauce is the best dish on the planet. I was in Turkey once when I was 15. Babs, pizza, burgers and all that. Then we found a norwegian place where they had fish balls. I ate there 3 of the last 5 days before the vacation was over.

What I ate when I came home? Fish balls.

My take on mac and cheese is that it should never have any ham bits in it. I've had one recently and it tasted gross. without ham, it would have been the tastiest thing ever
