Looks like you failed (like others on this thread), to actually look at the screenshot, and see that the issue the OP is talking about is a login server queue. The login servers Classic uses are the same authentication servers Retail uses.

Those share the same login server. There were login issue with classic and retail WoW on that day due to SL pre-patch. I play Classic and retail every single day and haven't experienced login server issues for months until this week, it was Wednesday and Thursday that had this issue in EU.
You couldn't even log in to Battle.net without que on those days.

This isn't a Classic queue problem, this is login server problem. This is due to Shadowlands pre-patch in Retail. I'm assuming you're in the EU, OP.

this is an issue on a "medium pop" realm more than half of the servers are medium or high since thats where people play i would guess it is an issue for many players.
