    The very first feeling?

What is the very first feeling that you would feel after just being born?

    Comfort.

The feeling of comfort. When you parents, when your dad and mom bring you home from the hospital.

    Safety.

When your parents put you in your baby crib for the first time. You feel safe and protected.

So I am going to say Comfort and Safety is the very first feeling you feel just after being born.

You've obviously forgotten that newborn babies cry and shiver so it's actually fear and cold.

Pretty much this. First thing you experience after being born is fear of the new einvironment and all of these new impressions. But certainly NOT comfort or safety.

It's actually coldness. When babies are born and their lungs inflate, they are steaming hot. All the air in the room is chill and they take a huge breath for the first time as the liquid in their lungs is absorbed. They are cold for a few minutes while the medical staff checks them out and then swaddles the baby.

When given your child, which can take a few minutes, for the first time they are shivering. And you are giving them back warmth that was almost immediately sucked out as soon as they emerged.

Source: I gave birth to two children and was present for four others.
