Is it free? If not I'm not going to waste money on something that obviously stupid unless someone can mod it to remove such utter bullcrap.

I imagine such a game would be very popular among pirates, as pirating methods would likely render the game's ability to preventing you from restarting inert... Everyone else would maybe play it once, and then promptly forget it even existed.
