This is a poster saying that people are at fault for being the victims of terrorism, because they are not white.

Also be nice if people were less racist and not blaming immigrants for everything.

They don’t understand the brain drain part of immigration. Which makes sense, if you think about it. Why would these people care if scientist and doctors leave for New Zealand?

I never said Bernie and AOC are socialists. I agree with you that they aren't.

I brought them up as being the closest thing we have to socialists in Congress. But they aren't socialists.

I think there is some truth to some of the arguments made here, as sad as they are, new zealands lack of diversity means their elections are focused on substantive policy in which the right cant win because it has no substantive policy, but diversity in general, not just immigrants tend to cause groups to vote based on their opposition to other groups not on policy. This was well concluded that 2016 support of donald trump was motivated not by "economic anxiety" but by racism, and especially hated of obama.

    compared to unemployment

white america only "felt" like unemployment was getting better as soon as they no longer had a black liberal president who represented a changing demographic, and instead had an authoritarian who promised to return to the days of strict demographic control, EVEN though their material well being literally didnt change, their "economic" anxiety went away long before the tax cut of 2018, obamacare was never repealed, it was literally only racism. And the fact that new zealand is 95% white probably means it will be impossible for someone like trump to take over with the same message

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by this.

According to the 2018 Census, New Zealand is 70.2% European, 16.5% Maori, 15% Asian, 8.1% Pacific Islander and 1.2% other.

The US is apparently 73% white, 12.7% black or African American, 5.4% Asian, 0.8% Native American and 5% other.

He means there are few of the wrong kind of people of color. You know, African Americans and Latinos.

Don't try to make sense of racism. It's racism.

I'm not saying Arond is racist. I'm talking about how racial biases work.

Today Obama once again kneeled at the altar of environmental naziism and hurt this once great country. He has now banned all drilling in the Atlantic Ocean

you hit the nail on the head, i am 100% against racism, im just pointing out that it exist, and in societys where it does exist like the US right wing wins based on that, in new zealand where the right cant play off that fear they lose bigly on substance, think about gun policy, new zealand basically did ban guns, what is the rights messaging, " if you take away guns only ((bad people)) will have guns or social welfare, your a hard working "real american" and those ((bad people)) are getting your tax money without working, its all racism. but once you remove the racial element iike in NZ the right loses, its sad but its true and its been the basis of republican success since the southern strategy

But... there is a racial element still. To a point. Like my reply pointed out, we have a lower percentage of white people than the US and a higher percentage of Maori than the US has black people. The difference is, while we certainly haven't exactly treated Maori amazingly in our history, we didn't enslave them to the extent the US enslaved black people and we've spent a lot of time making legitimate retributions and trying to thoroughly integrate Maori culture into New Zealand culture.

"They’ve only lost, tragically, but they lost 25 people. That’s an astoundingly low number to throw away personal freedom."
No. We only lost 25 people because we temporarily threw away personal freedoms. We now have those freedoms back. And have only lost 25 people.
