RTS is a fun and under-represented category. I frequently go back and play old C&C titles, starcraft, warcraft 3 (well... not so much any more...), etc.

Its gonna be hard to do the RTS, its sorta dormant atm. I hope they don't struggle though.

Good, there has been a real lack of RTS titles coming out over the past decade or so. Too many game studios are trying to the same thing, which is how we wound up with shit like Anthem/Marvel's Avengers/every battle royale/several dozen Korean MMORPGS.

If something like FPS and first person RPGs can stick around seemingly forever, RTS can as well. The only thing the genre needs is an actually fun game to play with a good budget for marketing. That iron harvest game is okay enough, but there can definitely be better. Originally Posted by Puupi

Good luck to them. I think the RTS genre is pretty much dead. The type of player that enjoyed them mostly moved on to MOBAs.

AS someone who grew up on RTS games, the market for them these days is dismal. Mostly because the younger Generation tends to gravitate towards games that don't require holding your attention for more than 20mins.
