Alright, thanks for the explanation. I get it now.

My main concern was that we had a hidden vampire lurking about and Dupti was just trying to cause as much chaos as possible. I now see that Dupti is being genuine and that if he wants to win, his main concern is ensuring that the Elder is not uncovered.

With that in mind, pushing on Xanjori makes sense if he is indeed a werewolf and received a message because at this point in the game, Dupti isn't going to necessarily want the number of humans to be thinned out.
