Fixed by adding Arenas and RBGs to the LFD tool (like random Battlegrounds) and by Blizzard learning how to matchmake with SBMM with premades only facing premades

Rbgs and arenas are supposed to be the equivalent of mythic dungeons, and you can't queue up for mythic dungeons. Also they would have to severely nerf the rewards from conquest points because it being queueable content means it becomes trivial content, and trivial content shouldn't have great rewards, especially when that content is going to be swarmed with bots and afk-ers for free significant loot.
This is a symptom of Blizzards insistence that gear needs to be transferable between the three endgame systems (PvP, raid, and Mythic +).
In my personal opinion, PvP will stay dead until either a PvP only stat is added or some sort of PvP gear upscaling (like in Warlords). What PvP has been lacking for 2 expansions is a standalone PvP progression system (the honor system revamp failed) that doesn’t include PvE.

No, they're not. Blizzard is not going to add systems where a nooblord can be shoved down the throat of a group and there is very little to be done to remove that nooblord.
Even dungeons in the LFG have a limited amount of times you can remove a troll/idiot/afk-er, imagine having to deal with a raid where like 5 people require removal and replacement with other people which may also happen to be bad apples. And also a dungeon is very short, lacking mechanics that can wipe a group if not followed properly by all members of the group, and for the most part can be completed even with nonparticipating group members. So there is 0 comparison between a heroic dungeon and a heroic raid where even one bad apple can repeatedly wipe a raid. And let's not discuss M+ where having an...undesirable pretty much means a depleted key.
Even if it was possible to queue up for mythic dungeons and normal/heroic/mythic raids, group leaders would still 100% prefer to make their own groups so they don't have to deal with Lordofdeathdk being added by the system and ruining the run for the entire group.
Same for rbgs and arens. What kind of idiots would queue up only to end up in a group with some people afk-ing or just being terribads, when there is such a thing as RATING ? It's already bad in Overwatch where rated play involves a LFG-like system and then people rage and whine at Torbjorn and Bastion players not playing the right heroes and "throwing" and tanking their rating.
Also, imagine this was your average rated battleground courtesy of solo queue.

Pvp scene is going to be more of a joke with conduits, covenants, legendaries, soulbinds playing a part of it.
The prepatch pvp has been the worst experience I have ever had in wow. By leaving essences and traits in the game they have doomed anyone who wants to try out the new playstyle of an alt.
