I haven't read anything from Shakespeare, Mark Twain, Charles Dickens, T.S. Eliot, Robert Frost, E.A. Poe, Isaac Asimov, Robert Heinlein, Arthur C. Clarke, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Roald Dahl, Ian Fleming, Lewis Carroll, and Arthur Conan Doyle.

I figured I'd stick to listing dead authors (there are a few I'd never heard of that left off the list, and others that I probably just forgot to list). I did cut Stephen King and Herman Melville from the list; King because he isn't dead, and Melville because Moby Dick is infamous rather than famous.

If we're counting not finishing books then Tolkein also makes the list, I got 100 pages into The Fellowship of the Ring before giving up out of sheer boredom.

There are a lot, Moby Dick, War and Peace, pretty much everything Shakespeare wrote. I've never been a big fan of older novels or regular fiction in general.

I took a writing course as an elective, that Professor said if we hadn't read his list of classic books we should not talk to him and drop his class.

The Diary of Anne Frank. I'm not big on fiction.

    Trolling isn't allowed. Infracted.

There are far too many that just don't interest me so I will go with the most famous book that I want to read that I have yet to and that is Aldous Huxley's Brave New World. Been on my "to read" list for ever but I just have never gotten around to actually reading it.

Other than the Bible(which I only read to debate with Christians when they start being overly pushy with their beliefs) I haven't read any of the other major religious books like the Qa'ran or the Torah. I guess those would be the most famous.

If you mean fiction(I mean "intended fiction", your mileage may vary on the religious texts), I dunno, a lot of stuff. I haven't read any of the Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, or Hunger Games books, nor have I read War and Peace, and I haven't read a lot of Shakespeare either(what I read, I read in school).

Uhh, let's see... The entire Harry Potter series, the entire Game of Thrones series, the entire Hunger Games series... Can you tell I'm not an avid reader?

No, I can't tell you're not an avid reader. I work overnight at a hotel and I read most of my shift. I go through 2-3 novels a week, sometimes more if all of them are particularly short, say 200-250 pages. And I've never read any of those books you mention either heh.
