If you are not in the top 200 guilds in the world (to not say <100), it truly matters very little what you min-max in terms of passive racials and subsystems like covenants.
If you min-max the main character stats/rotation and you do not do mistakes you will beat 99% of players with optimal covenants and that's an objective fact.
