Either Alleria somehow knew all high elves were able to resist the void, (no)
(Yes), for it is what is Canonically stated in the Official summary of the old Ren'dorei recruitment scenario, as laid out by the panda Aysa:

Are you familiar with how the Void elves joined the Alliance?

It began with Alleria Windrunner finding out about a blood elf named Umbric.

He and his followers were banished from Silvermoon City for researching void magic.

Alleria believed she could convince Umbric and his followers to join the Alliance and prevent the void from corrupting them.

It all began when she opened up a portal to go into the Ghostlands...
So the latest Canonical source states that Alleria did not come to the aid of the Ren'dorei because the voices told her to (why would they, the Ren'dorei are the greatest enemy the Void Lords have ever had since the beginning of time, like the Illidari with the Legion, it doesn't make any ounce of sense whatsoever...), but because she heard of Magister Umbric's research and was confident she could stop him and his followers from becoming corrupted by the Void, like the aforementioned Garrosh, Ner'zhul, Neltharion. Which she did.

The intro cutscene of the Ren'dorei is then narrated by Alleria herself, who mentions how even mighty dragons aspects and titan creations were corrupted by the Void and driven to madness -- but the Ren'dorei are not, as such the Ren'dorei are in the position to master the Void and prove everyone wrong.

No one was in this position before Legion patch "7.3", no one. Every Void user that was ever presented was either using a small amount of Void or crazy.

@Varodoc, I think you need to cool off with your void elf fanatism... we get it, you like this race but not every topic needs a voidelf input

...yet. They haven't been driven to madness yet.

Defying is not a one-time and you are done thing. She is literally called "the vessel" in the Nightborne quest, and she has proven time and time again that she is not entirely in control. It's not that she isn't in control, it's just that the Void Lords don't think it's required to escalate yet.

Also, once again, you ignore Shadow Priests, who have a Void Form that's similiar if not the same as the Void Elves, since Legion.

You should tell that to @Ersula, he is the one who picked a post I made like 3 days ago and started saying false things about the Ren'dorei (like how the Ren'dorei are mad and corrupted, which completely defies Canon).

I never start discussions about the Ren'dorei, I always jump in already ongoing discussions.

Shadow Priests are not infused with the Void at a cellular level. Comparing a Shadow Priest to a Void elf is like comparing a Warlock to a Felblood elf or a Demon.

Shadow Priests are still normal people, who happened to be using the Void as some kind of temporary power-up; the Ren'dorei instead are people who have literally been changed and transformed at a molecular level by the Void.

As such, Shadow Priests never defied the Void in the same way that the Ren'dorei do.

    a joke or a clickbait
this line was datamined back in december iirc, and we don't know who she's addressing.
although such an ending is more than likely lul

I’m kinda let down that the Greek theme got wasted this expansion

Could have been so fun but instead we got
Elysian fields and some togas with the creation myths being watered down into a quest line

Bring on the “Calia’s husband was actually Bolvar this whole time and thus there is a living heir to lordaeron who Anduin wants to bang?!?!”
    That’s leads into
“The scarlet crusade said her child was a son and they have him and it’s going to be a wa….OH MY GOD IT WAS A DRAGON ALL ALONG!!!”

citation on Void Elves being "infused with the void at a cellular level" (lol?). And true. Comparing Void Elves to Shadow Priest isn't an real good comparison. A better comparison would be comparing Void Elves with Blood Elves, or with Nightborne. Shadow Priests show greater prowess of the Void than Void Elves (bar Alleria) ever did.

Actually I have already given enough citations, and I'm sure that you would ignore it as you have ignored everything else I have provided from the Official Canon.

It is you who should start providing citations, beginning from that part about Shadow Priests showing greater prowess in the Void than the Ren'dorei did. Or beginning from the part where you think that the Ren'dorei are evil and crazy.

No one but the player sets anything right really, unless Sylvanas does something we don't know yet but even then it would be weird that she says Horde and not Sylvanas.
Also that Tyrande does not say a name points more towards that she is talking to the player.

Help restore? You mean like community service?

Haven't thought about it. It could be the Horde player.

why not, it would still be harder punishment than what she would get if she is Alliance leader

That would literally anger everyone, even her fans.
I think it is more likely she stays in SL and searches for Nathanos or something like that.

I mean, Sylvanas is literally topless in that thumbnail.

I don't even know why I'm saying this since that's par for the course with Sylvanas fanarts, do carry on.

Yep - I think "community service" would atleast bring something for everyone compared to killing her off or telling her to stay in the Maw for all eternity.

You're having a completely different conversation at this point. It's a logical fallacy to assume if someone resisted the whispers once, that they will resist the whispers forever: Alleria releasing void monstrosities in the Sunwell is all the example we need.

"Why the Night Elves joined the Alliance against their longtime cultural friends, the Tauren" & "Why didn't the Night Elves continue to live on Nordrassil" are two of the biggest asspulls vanilla wow gave us. But I mean, her actual Goddess already saved Sylvanas. It feels very strange all in all. Elune clearly wants Sylvanas alive.

Also it should be noted that those dialog lines are out of order: The Thanks lines are from the end of the raid & the submission dialog is later, from the epilogue. Who knows what Tyrande decides. But probably the lamest thing will be turning Sylvanas into a faction neutral character. Horde loses again.

It's not an asspull. Thrall and the Horde continued to march on Ashenvale AFTER the Third War, so the Night elves had no other choice but to look for aid from the Alliance.

The actual asspull is why the various forest spirits that aided the Night elves in WC3 are not doing anything in WOW...

Also, Elune wants Sylvanas alive only in Shadowlands, written by Danuser. IN BFA, written by Afrasiabi, it was literally implied the opposite, that Elune would try to destroy Sylvanas for her actions and that she absolutely did not approve of that war.

Just another of many asspulls made by Danuser to save Sylvanas from all the targets she had in her back.

"Horde loses again" when they all get away with genocide for the second time, suuuure. BfA is but the second of the completely Horde-biased expansions we've had in the last decade.
