What if we're just completely side railed from thinking it's dragon isles because of the leak and encrypted dragon mount...

But it's actually something to do with Elune and etc?

- Celestial observer transmog in November on the store
- That feline kitty mount that has suramar / night elf vibes
- shadowlands elune stuff cutscenes recently
- maybe the encrypted emerald dragon mount is really related to all of this like Ysera / elune instead haha.

What if we've been completely wrong because of a fake leak, and the real expansion is under our nose from actual WoW hints.

This all has the same purple vibe as the Empire of Dragons logo as well.

Zero. You'll get an announcement for that. At this point a bluepost with an announcement for the announcement is by far the most likely outcome.

That would probably only be for an actual important announcement like the 10.0 trailer or confirmation for WotLK Classic.
For a 9.2 date announcement I think just the teaser leading to the announcement is plenty.

Nah the post only stated that they will show something this week about any of their games. Hell it can also be that they'll only show something for Diablo Immortal for example and not even anything WoW related (even though I'm really hoping for atleast a 9.2 date)

The Void Lords are so terrifying that they scared Sargeras himself, they are and remain the final threat of the Warcraft franchise.

I do not think that they will announce whatever Ybarra has to say. The announcements will be on his post / video whatever form he chooses to make them. I hope to be wrong but I do not expect more than a date for WoW news and maybe the 9.2 release date (for WoW related news).

He was literally the main antagonist of an expansion that did not, in fact, entirely revolve around a character who only appeared in any capacity near the end of the expansion.

Closure? After WoD? Really? He was very dead by then and no one thought that he will ever be back (except as a Lightforged Orc serving Yrel), but OUR Garrosh story was finished and closed. Again, why bother to show him in two cinematics? There are plenty of dead characters that could have been highlighted, but they chose Garrosh and we do nothing with him. Correct me if I am wrong but I think that he is not even mentioned while you quest in Revendreth. I do not know, maybe is just me, but it seems such a waste to make him appear AGAIN just to kill him AGAIN without any development at all.

When it comes to Garrosh, all that's left of him and Dormazain is a pile of ashes. As far as I'm aware we've not been told that souls go somewhere else upon being slain in the Shadowlands, so it is a pretty good assumption that Garrosh annihilated himself along with Dormazain.

I forgot all about that damn giant sword. I really hope 10.0 does something with that.

What exactly can be done though? Its a planet-sized sword. I doubt even the strongest mortals on the planet could do something about it.

Only real concept I can see happening is it gets used by Azeroth whenever she awakens.
