Cannot be true. Toweliee would never say anything this specific.

Again, that dust could be just the boss' ashes. Again, why bother to highlight Garrosh in the Revendreth cinematic, just to not interact with him at all until a boss fight, just to kill him again, after he had a decent dead in WoD. It does not makes sense to me at all that they will bring him back just for that.

    Welcome to Blizzard games?

I mean, Garrosh is probably my favourite character to come out of WoW itself, but it's very clear that his story is done and over with. They brought him back simply because you and I recognize him. That's all. We're in the dead place so let's show the players another dead guy they know. Honestly, I'm surprised we got as much of him as we did.

Same reason why they brought back Ner'zhul. Nostalgia and a way to have a few familiar names amongst a bunch of no-names we'd never heard of prior to stepping into the raid.

Where else would he go? Have we seen anything that says that souls that are extinguished or slain go elsewhere after the Shadowlands? Simplest explanation is, he's dead(er).

But it's actually something to do with Elune and etc?

    - Celestial observer transmog in November on the store
    - That feline kitty mount that has suramar / night elf vibes
    - shadowlands elune stuff cutscenes recently
    - maybe the encrypted emerald dragon mount is really related to all of this like Ysera / elune instead haha.

What if we've been completely wrong because of a fake leak, and the real expansion is under our nose from actual WoW hints.

Replace the Sylverian Dreamer with the blue phoenix, but yeah, I said it too, it could be Life Plane/Elune related too, as far as we know. It could be the 2 things tied-up, in the sense of Aspects getting again a power-up, but this time from the Life Panteon instead of the Order one.

Honestly, i think they will combine Lifelands and Dragons into one.

That's the absolute safest bet i think, considering what we know.

I guess all this stuff was planned to go along with an actual 9.2 content, devoted to Ardenweald, Elune and Drust raid, and when Blizzard realized they have to scrap it for sake of 10.0, they took what they had back then and threw it as paid content.

They brought Kel'thuzad and Ner'zhul and at least they made bosses out of them. They brought Kael'thas and Lady Vashj and developed them through quests. Garrosh could have perfectly been another boss if they wanted to, yet they did not make him a boss, nor we have the chance to interact with him at all, so the door is open for his return.

Where did he go? I do not know, has someone escaped the Shadowlands before? Guess that time will tell.

They still made him a part of a boss encounter, though.

I mean, simplest explanation and all that jazz. Garrosh attacks Dormazain, flash of energy, pile of ashes. And you could just as well argue that Dormazain escaped somehow too. Maybe the ashes are from his armor.

Kind of my thoughts. I think what was supposed to be the mid-expansion tier was likely very Elune focused. It was scrapped and probably baked into the 10.0 story instead.

Great, now remove tinkers and add dragonsworn

In any case, if he were to return, it would not be for any significant narrative or character-based reason. It would simply be because he is a character we recognize. The same reason that Thrall and Jaina are involved in the Shadowlands stuff: they are characters we recognize. They have nothing to do with the overall plot. They will not grow or develop as characters. They are there because this is WarCraft, so let's grab a couple faces and shoehorn them in, making this disconnected narrative feel even more forced.

The issue with that is that there are no canon Dragonsworn, specifically identified as such.

I want them a million times more than I want Tinkers, but that's a hurdle.

Imo, Dragon-based class fits WoW setting even less than Monk. I cant recall the dragon knight/sworn/born in Warcraft lore, and the usual concept of it kinda washes out the Dragon aspect coolness. Id take tinker over dragon class any day.

This reddit post is so based!!

    https://www.reddit.com/r/wow/comment...n_doesnt_turn/

WoW community: "We are sick of all the cosmic, world-ending retreading BS"

Also WoW community: "Let's make this human paladin hero go crazy with power, because that has never been done before lol"

It is interesting, now that you mentioned it, that the kinds of mobs that we face in the Maw similar to that boss do not turn to ashes, nor do the different state in which souls are in the Shadowlands (Kyrians or Venthyr), so it could definitively be the armor what turned into ashes. But I think that I am reading too much into this. We will have to wait to see if he ever does a comeback.

Am I the only one here still hoping we will get Necromancers?

    If it is Dragon Isles:'

    They should be floating islands

We should totally have airship battles. Gimme Gyrocopters and Zeppelins, baby! Aerial Combat on flying mounts even!

  19. #20199
Why is it an issue that there aren't any in canon? wham bam Wrathion discovers the dragon isles and discovers some ancient teaching that turns select people into dragonsworn, voila fixed the issue.
