"Go'el" Family: Happy ending. Thrall and Aggra married, bought a hut in Outlands, made two babies, Thrall defeated the assassins sent after his family.

Proudmoore Family: Happy ending. Katherine forgave Jaina, Tandred was saved, Derek is undead but was rescued from Sylvanas and owns a cottage in Kul Tiras anyway, so he can see his family whenever he wants.

The Primus was the most powerful yet he was no match whatsoever for the Jailer. Best thing he could have done was not go anywhere near the Maw or Korthia.

Also, Kyrestia is not powerful at all. She not only needed the help of a bunch of mortals to defeat Devos, but literally got gibbed by Anduin.

Anduin only extracted the Sigil from her and left. She's still alive.

It's not really an ending if it didn't end. Like, Thrall just got captured, tortured and rescued, his story is ongoing. Same with Jaina (and hardly a happy situation for Derek, even if he got some comfort in his state).
Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.

With Elune now being confirmed as the Winter Queen‘s sister, the entire power hierarchy for Eternal Ones seems to be off. It’s really weird.

That's a new story, though, not a continuation of the previous one.

I doubt she's an Eternal One herself. This whole relationship seems to pre-date the Ardenweald.

Yes, but by definition happy ending is final ending. Else you could say guys like Tirion got one.

All the more reason to slightly shift the pendulum. That said Alleria is still a ticking time bomb.

And we defeated Denathrius while he was high on anima power.

Hard to believe any of these beings are on the level of Titans except maybe the Jailer.

    1. He sent all that Anima to the Maw.
    1. He split parts of his power into medallions.
    3. We always defeat the villains in the end, so this is not a power level indication.

He very clearly kept a hoard for himself, unlike his siblings who he left deprived of all anima.

There is no indication that his power is in any way limited by the existence of medallions, nor would something so self-hindering be part of Denathrius' M.O.

Usually with help. And the last time we killed a Titan (Aggramar) it was implied to be a weakened, corrupted husk, a shade, and we had juiced up artifacts. For Argus, we straight up got empowered and resurrected by the Titans and he was severely damaged and immature.

Sure with help, but still these were beings so unimaginably stronger than us (titan vs mortals, c'mon). But power levels are always bent for gameplay reasons. We did also receive some help during Donny fight by having his reinforcements stopped.

It's gonna be weird regardless, though. We're going from an Eternal One as a final boss to Sylvanas. I'm pretty sure that despite her upgrades, Sylvanas shouldn't be as powerful as an Eternal One or a Titan.

So, just catching up on the Ardenweald story and supposedly Tyrande loses the power of the Night Warrior by the end of 9.1 - what the hell was the entire purpose of her Night Warrior state then? Like honestly, what did she achieve?

We went from Argus to goddamn pirate on an oversized parrot, so I don;t think anybody really cares any more. :v

She killed Nathanos after the player wailed on him for 5 minutes, lowering him to <10% health. Let's be happy that it's over (if it actually is), the cringe-warrior was one of the worst ideas ever. She could have just used actual moon based powers due to her archer/moon-priest background instead of turning into a wannabe demon hunter with edgy twilight makeup. Her powerup was already a failure when she failed to kill Nathanos and a Valkyr together with Malfurion.
You are welcome, Metzen. I hope you won't fuck up my underground expansion idea.

A fistbump moment for the Alliance obviously, didnt you hear the writers say so?

In a more serious note I guess it worked to give Nelf players a cosmetic option to show off the most significant event that happened to them.

But yes, in the end the Night Warrior ability seems to be pointless. I guess at best we could assume that the power is not completely gone, and that it will be used again later in some capacity, though I doubt it. Sylvanas is the ultimate evil that deserved to be defeated by the Night Warrior power, but it doesnt seem like Tyrande or any of hte other Night Warriors are in the raid.

The way the raid looks right now it will be lame either way. Either they completely forgot about the the cringe warrior stuff and the nelf storyline, or they will have her show up during the last cutscene out of nowhere, which would be fucking lazy and lame as well.

The entire story was pretty much a failure from beginning to end. At least for the SL part Tyrande should have been become a spectre in the maw that causes mayhem to the point where even the mawsworn fear her wrath. Heck I'd have turned her into a natural disaster that even the players aren't save from and have her hound Slyvanas through the raid later on. During the venari questline we should have come across her multiple times, instead you meet her once during the night fae quests. Everyone else has no clue what is happening to her.

I didn't expect the Night Warrior stuff to be over with such a lame ending. They build it up for 1.5 expansions now and this is it? It ends in a questline which not even every player has to play through? Talk about wasted potential yet again. This feels like a very rushed and pointless ending to the Night Warrior storyline. Maybe there was planned more but they just scrapped it because it went nowhere?

I did. You didn't think they'd ever give Tyrande or the Night Elves something worthwhile, did you? Lmao.

    That's..

    A fair point, I guess.

(Although that is a from one expansion to the other thing, to be frank, not in the same expansion.)
