I don't think 2022 expac is likely, but Q1 2023 for sure (Q2/Q3 if it's revamp expac).

If they want Christmas cash grab, there is always Wrath, much safer option, without any risk of delay. Release Zul'Aman ~April, Sunwell ~July and Wrath is ready for December. Wrath won't be another Vanilla Classic, but I expect bigger hype than TBC. Hell, I will even play it myself, I wanted to revisit old zones, but quit Vanilla after I realized they'll continue it and 3.0 environment is just more fun way to do it.

We never see Arthas use any kind of frost magic anywhere else, and the lore description of the death knight also doesn't say anything about frost magic. We also don't see Arthas use frost magic anywhere else in the game. Especially since it would be mighty useful to cross that river where Sylvanas destroyed that bridge.

It will 100% happen in 2022. There is a non-zero chance it will happen in like January or February of 23 but it's like a 1% chance. They've probably been on it full blast for months now and we have literally no idea what state it is right now. For all we know it's in a state ready for an Alpha/Beta tomorrow.

Correct. There is no indication (from anywhere official at-least) that Blizzard is ahead/behind on 10.0. We just don't know. They could very well announce 10.0 before/after 9.2. Then, they could begin alpha/beta shortly after announcing/months later. Again, who knows. Everyone is in pure speculation mode at this point. We all just need to chill

I mean, and you don't call it like that, because it supports yours. Since day one Scourge has been associated with frost, their entire crest is covered in ice, their boss sits on a Frozen Throne etc, so it is a logical conclusion that white shit Arthas shot was frost magic.

The crest being and many mobs covered in ice are not exactly an indicative of the powers the group is associated with, more like an indicative of where their "base of operations" lie. After all, Northrend is a frozen continent, so stuff tends to get frozen there with zero frost magic needing to be involved. That's like saying humans should have metal-based magic because their crest is made almost completely of metal and many if not most of their units are also covered in metal..

But arthas literally created a bridge of ice to reach the sunwell?
The scourge also was associated with ice from the beginning having liches and Icewyrms as one of the strongest units in wc3.

No, he learned the designs of the Frostmourne and the Helm of Domination from Primus' memories, alongside the designs for his armies. Nowhere does it say that he learned any kind of location for anything.

I can see how you might think that but you're forgetting two things:
1.) Things inside the Maw could not leave the Shadowlands until Sylvanas broke the helm. And the Nathrazim have only been operating under their orders from the jailer since before they were banished from the Shadowlands.
2.) The Primus literally said the Crown & Frostmorne were made to collect souls "within maldraxxus". Immediately after that cutscene he directly states knowing the danger they would present if fallen into the wrong hands, hid them on Azeroth. I'm not wildly speculating, the Primus directly explains this.

Tbf, he didn't create a bridge originally.
That was retconned to be the case in Rise of the Lich King because they changed the EK geography and shoved the Sunwell far into the Sea in BC.

WC3 silent generation really. We're way past the point that Warcraft is mostly known for anything besides the MMO. Hell even as far back as like Wrath and Cata there were already people going deep into WoW that didn't know the RTS games even exist.
