I mean, if 10.0 is as big of a flop as SL has been, then Microsoft is 100% stepping in and heavy-handedly as well. They have a history of being hands-off with successful studios but also a history of being very hands-on with unsuccessful ones. There's no way that we are getting a decade of Danuser Babies. He's gone if he fucks this next one up. They'll run out of Afrasiabi's to scapegoat.

I no longer reply to quotations beyond if you're asking a genuine question or have a non-confrontational stance.
There's a lot of directions things can go.
Many of us thought that Legion was going to just be the initial invasion of a larger Burning Legion arc, but Argus was the final patch and the Burning Legion was defeated. The Chronicle teased the Void as the next and final thing after the Burning Legion and Battle for Azeroth seemed to vindicate that expectation, leading to assumptions that'd we'd be in the Void arc for awhile. Ny'alotha ended up just being the final raid, the last Old God was killed, and then we moved onto a new, never-before-seen villain.
Even in the context of what we got, the Legion expansion's continent was the Broken Isles on Azeroth. The Void expansion's continent was Kul Tiras and Zandalar on Azeroth.
I wouldn't worry too much about a cosmic arc. History implies that Shadowlands' plot will be resolved here in 9.2. Anything that isn't, like Yrel's Light army, are more likely to be dealt with in an expansion with a mundane continent than taking place entirely in a Light realm.
Regardless of whether or not the "Empire of Dragons" logo is fake/real, you have to admit that it looks cool AF. I'm not crazy about the name but if the color scheme and design represent the direction of the expansion (if it turns out real) then we are in for a treat (I hope)!
I still say it's incredibly revealing that there's been no text-based leak surrounding EoD. It's always the most minimalistic things that end up being true (with the exception of Cata's entire damn plot here and WoD with SoLgate).
I think in these discussions it's always helpful to post the item in question;
I think TFO's tech is a little too sterile, while we had some Titan tech like in Uldum, Ulduar, and Uldir, and in Pandaria can look far more ornate. The border of that logo also shares that same more ornate, grand design that simply strikes me as titan-based. We also shouldn't forget that Titan tech can be shaped to resemble it's location. Mother for example resembled more closely the look of Zandalar;
While Setesh in Uldum resembled more of an Egyptian look;
And obviously Odyn and other stuff we came across in Legion;
So "Titan" is a very flexible theme that lends itself well to multiple environments within WoW. The thing that strikes me in that logo is the apparent breaking of Azeroth. If that is the case, the titan influence is simply inescapable, and would almost certainly have to be a major theme in such an expansion.
We also should acknowledge that if we're talking about a more grounded expansion with some cosmic elements, Titans vs Old Gods would fit the bill. Your Goriona example is interesting though, I just don't think dragon armor matches the aesthetics of that border.
