This doesn't awsner the question tho.. I am curious what people expect of housing and what the gameplay is? pet battles is gameplay to you know.
Like I said, I don't want a third itteration of the mission table or put down pointless paintings on the wall. Like what exactly do I do in that house?

Most likely nothing, I don't think housing is particularly interesting for anyone who's not a roleplayer. I'd still be very happy if we get it, and I'm sure they could tie a random system or two to it but most of what I want is just to make little spots for myself to hang out in with a friend or two.
Ye same here, I just asked the question to someone who wants to see it happen ( housing) to what the actual fucntion or gameplay is with housing. I honestly don't see it.. What do I do in this furnitured house? tell me.

Okey, I only played eso at the start and quit in the first year I think, due to their horrible fps dropps and overral not very smooth gameplay, so I have no idea... but again.. What is it for me( player) what is the gameplay in wow if housing is in? besides money, this doesn't help to get me slighty interested.
It's a roleplay thing, I get it. But it's not a small feature.. so it should have more then just being able to putt a chair down, See what I mean?
What's in it for me?

Fair enough. It does seem like it, I am just trying to think of stuff what I want or could do there.. I mean it's a pretty big undertaking and to just be.. while here you have your own house and have fun, doesn't seem worth the time. Hence I am asking.
It just doesn't seem to add a whole lot and it seems a to big of a undertaking and to make it feel rich with a lot of options it will take quite some dev time. People obviously want to choose where to place their house and change as much as possible or else it would feel even more pointless. Garrisons left me with a real sour taste and the essense of player housing was there.. but it failed flat and felt super limited. Putting down some rewards to show off or having a garden just isn't going to cut it really. I just can't imagine a 2.0 version of it and be fun.. It just seems really boring.

Please don't; I quit ESO due to them putting so much time into Housing that the rest of the game suffered. PvE zones got smaller with less to do in them and PvP got completely ignored. Everything that comes out is usually for Housing; a meme arose that ESO's end game is Housing.
I hope that if WoW does add Player Housing, it has some gameplay feature besides hiding in your own instance putting paintings on walls and statues in your yard. I'd prefer they spend their time on more dungeons, than just 8 (10 in 9.2), and add more outside zones to play in.

Damn feb 15/16 release for 9.2, not too far I guess.
Means early march at earliest for 10.0, probably after Race for World First not to coincide for viewers for that event

for me, the news about 9.2 is a hype, a chance for a cool cinematic with Arthas
If they announce 9.2 today we can expect a cool patch video with parts of the unseen cinematics. Would be pretty cool if Arthas is shown.
That will keep WoW community active easily until march or whenever they decide to announce 10.0.
Do not take life too seriously. You will never get out of it alive.
