I hate how they don't have actual trailers anymore like 4.2, 5.2, 5.4 etc. I think the last actual trailer that was not an ingame cinematic was 6.2

Do not know. I loved Legion and BfA patch trailers. Especially 8.2, which was an amazing patch IMO. Azshara carried the trailer by herself, though. Show Arthas for a second and 9.2 will be a success.

7.1 with Moroes might have been the last trailer to have animation present only in the trailer, though compared to the quality of the trailer for 6.2, or better yet 5.2 and 5.4 I think it was clear Blizzard would prefer to make better use of their animation budget by at least having the cutscene somewhere in the game.

you are right but they have to show something. Sylvanas Awakening doesn't fit intro "Eternity's end " other cinematics only after the release of the raid

People guess this, that all expansions are meant to be optional, but you forget that they designed Bastion quests to be done *after* timewalking & they wouldn't make sense without it. But actually they designed Shadowlands to be between Timewalking & whatever comes after. If they're starting a new storyline in 10.0 they definitely won't want people jumping to it directly after the BFA storyline. It's going to be Timewalking > Shadowlands > 10.0

Wailing Caverns updated with Botani / Saberon and life magic theme

They said some Botani came to Azeroth but not Saberon.

Why would a class using First Ones tech be called a "tinker"? Wouldn't something implying a higher level of mastery/whimsy be more attractive like Artificer?

Don’t think it says they use First Ones tech. Seems to imply that you’re some sort of genius so you’re summoned to help repair Titan facilities.

Anyway, clearly fake, and the title of the expansion is simply awful.

I am expecting more Monday shock reveals. Probably some big feature announcement for 10.0 that will make people go "WOW IS SAVED" and everyone else rolls their eyes at people taking the bait.
