Same until I got to the part about it just being Galapagos merged with Galakrond. I'm fine with the name but Galakros is easier to say even if Galakaros is more interesting with the Galapagos angle. I'd probably have to hear it said a bunch to automatically read it correctly and not have to stop and remind myself of the extra letter.

I have to admit, the idea of Azeroth being a giant loli with some kind of Fifth Element-esque crap bores me to tears. I rather detest the idea of Azeroth just turning out to be a petulant and fetishistic "le innocent" character—that, and a mix of that personality and power teeters on the edge of Mary Sue-dom even by the standards of the Le Big Destined Heroine Who Will Totally Defeat the Void. I much prefer the idea of her being a cruel and militant war goddess—it does make sense, given what's happened on her surface. I always pictured her as being a highly concise, calculating figure who – if she ever spoke directly to the player – would be very sinister in nature, her requests communicated by wordless and context-less emergence of quest objectives which ought to be extrapolated to be her commands.

My particular fantasy was always that you'd be fighting some kind of enemy of Azeroth and, when you finally get to hear what Magni was hyping up as a beautiful sequence of imagery or a "song", it's only communicated to the player in a very subtle way to convey Azeroth's real personality—you'd just get the objective "procure incendiaries".

Then someone should tell them to throw all those lorebooks in the fucking trash.

Also in legal terms, no, a singular entity is not the employed writer.

No I rather have Azeroth have a softer personality then being some god of war esque person. Less Garrosh and Varian pre MoP and more middleground and not whatever you suggested and really its not bad if Azeroth is a bit more on the compassionate side. I mean it would be an improvement compared to the Titans being a bit standoffish

In my head i always imagined Azeroth as an Athena-esque figure.
Hopefully the less manipulative interpatation of athena(Like in God of War)

I dig that old, troll fan art:

Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.

Why would waking Azeroth be beneficial to humanoids in the slightest?

Azeroth is derived from Azatoth, the blind demon sultan whose awakening will end the world.
Looking at full size Sargeras - how much do you think is left of the planet Sargeras after that emerged, even if somewhat less demonic back then?
This is a signature of an ailing giant, boundless in pride, wit and strength.
Yet also as humble as health and humor permit.

Furthermore, I consider that Carthage Slam must be destroyed.

Which would be relevant if we were talking about legal responsibility, rather than storywriting. But we're not.

That was merely a fan hypothesis before we found out she was a Titan.

We have no idea what happens when a Titan is properly "born", and whether it has any effect on the planet at all.

    Blizzard already mentioned titan homeworlds.

And their choice to portray them as sentient nebulae makes an easy excuse to keep the planet intact.

I hope Azeroth is a troll, with trolls being one of the few native races, but it's gonna be an Elf anyway.

It should be a Titan, not a troll and technically all races are native to Azeroth.

The only upside I see about the AoG leak is finally getting tinker done and dusted

This would also break their “match the class with the theme” thing but it is literally so possible it’s scaring me lol

We even have writers themselves saying “we are told what to make happen”

Then again those same writers say “it’s obvious to me that the people making WoW know what is best for the game they are just so great”

That means it's still a hypothesis though, and not an unlikely one given the name.

Fair enough, though we have been hit with the "Titan's perspective" before, and them surviving does not mean it wouldn't be beyond cataclysmic; i recall Argus' surface showing some rather large gash in which we presumably found his world soul, implying the Legion had to rend open the planet to get it out.

Given that the key point of that hypothesis was that Azeroth is actually an Old God... no, it isn't. "Sounds similar" is worth exactly nothing as evidence, as well.

What does everyone think will happen at the end of the Sepulcher raid with the Jailer? Will we win, lose, partially lose, what happens to us, what happens to Azeroth? I'm curious of your thoughts.

As someone who knows nothing about the 9.2 story (I like to keep it fresh and no spoilers), I'm hoping the Jailer either wins, or partially wins, in a HUGE way that changes everything we know (in a good way). By a good way, I mean in a way that is fun and something we are looking forward to exploring NOT a good way as in the Jailer gives everyone lollipops and shoots rainbows.

Well it could be a BFA situation where the Jailer dies and well thats it. Thats not what I'd want persay but that is a possible route to go. I'd personally rather have some consequence/event to happen to sorta give us an idea of what comes next.
