The last time you could get raid quality gear from daily quests was MoP. TBC was the last time you could get T4 items from crafting without ever playing raids. PVP offered raid quality gear up to MoP and in Shadowlands again.
But that is not what i talk about. I talk about character progression. Means: You play the lowest difficulty to get gear for a higher difficulty. That system currently applies to mythic+ and premade raids only.
What i want is this for all gameplay in WoW:
You start at the lowest difficulty and progress up to the highest difficulty. Imagine this being implemented for systems like Torghast and world quests, offering easy low level rewards at the lowest diffculty, and allowing you to climb up a character progression ladder during the upcoming weeks and months. A system like that should be part of every RPG, and WoW as an RPG in special, as it is meant to be played by a diverse playerbase.
You seem to want to pretend i want to give easy epics to everyone. No, i do not want that. I want mythic raiders to get the best gear for their playstyle. But i also want "nightmare"-level quest players to also get the best gear for their playstyle as well. I also would add instanced content for solo players featuring raid and dungeon content and this kind of character progression.

I am not really "mad" at blizzard, i just wonder why they exlude everyone except pvpers, raiders and mythic+ players from character progression.
