I see Chinese riddle leaks are the new FotM leak type.
Hopefully we get some actual art asset leaks, or better yet map leaks, those are always fun.

Blizz has removed filenames from the game to avoid any future kultiranquestcloth -situation.

I feel like those old instances were deliberate though, I cannot really see any other good reason for why random items in the filenames would be there.

The LivingWorld strings might actually be the hint this time.

Probably. But they will only make sense in the context. Just like "Towerdev".

WoW will have stories in the old world and new zones (Dragon Isles).

The Old World stories would be about new characters and conflicts between the Horde and Alliance. These stories will be delivered in small patches with a progressive revamp of some zones and quests.

    - The story takes place after 10 years since the heroes entered the Shadowlands.
    - People in Azeroth thought the heroes died in the Shadowlands. Turalyon cannot believe Anduin and the heroes are alive. He banishes them. The characters are sort of adventurers again.
    - The warfare against the Alliance and Horde started again. However, Turalyon has a new ally; some people said it is a Draenei blessed by the Light.
    - The Council of the Horde is a mess. Talanji wants to take revenge over her father's death.
    - New quests in old zones. Incentives to complete main quests in Azeroth area to get transmog gear and transmog spell effects/animations. It is like having a subclass without changing the core mechanics. For example, the Dark Ranger special quest reveals more about the forsaken status.
    - New crafting system that allows using old materials from old expansions to create bonus effects.

The main storyline is about the Dragon Isles, Azeroth, Elune, and Nozdormu.

    - Zovaal is defeated, but Azeroth is silent. The limits between the Emerald Dream, the Shadowlands, and the elemental planes are weakened.
The dragons' power is necessary, and adventurers need to visit the mythical Dragon Isles: a prototype titan facility. However, the Dragon Isles are savage lands, isolated from the main continents for a long time. It has entirely new creatures.
    - TheVoid Dragonflight is already in there.
    - Nozdormu is an ally at the start, but some events reveal that maybe all the past events in Azeroth were a risky gamble by the Old Gods. He is not sure if he is a pawn of the Old Gods and if using the Dragons Isles is part of the plan.

No new classes, but lots of customization and zone revamp. One team will focus on the old world revamp and another team will focus on the main storyline (Dragon Isles). Blizzard thinks this approach would allow to adjust to players preferences.
This doesn't sound bad at all, idk what people are talking about;p

    this is it as always

Avoid? They put up this shit for us to start speculation. Haven't you noticed how current 'leaks' flood started right after they put LivingWorld strings to 9.2 PTR?

Iirc wowhead gives them names now, but they are not coming from Blizzard directly anymore.

Yup, pretty much this. They removed filenames from models (one of the last few remaining things with names) during 9.2 so the only way to name (new) items is now by their icon names. The kultirasquest incident could still happen, but it would have to be through icons alone as everything else no longer has names.

There is a particularly great post by a certain parrot on the community council forums that goes into the whole filename situation.

Tbh I'm going to be disappointed if we don't get a new class or a new race. It's past due lol. I'm really curious to see how Blizzard will handle a new ranged class. For me when Demon Hunters came out it felt really new, fluid and modern. Curious if they can hit that same mark for me again.

It definitely will not be a caster type class. Casters are the most outdated feeling class. And least imo, no offense to anyone who enjoys them. I just can't stand not being able to move

I'd enjoy a range class that is as mobile and as little reliant on casting as hunters are

Which hunter? BM is a fully mobile spec while MM has it's main dmg ability on a cast.
Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.

MM is quite mobile too though I had BM in mind

What are you waiting for? They announced 9.1 and 9.1.5 release dates 12 days before they went live (on a Thursday). If we don’t get anything on Thursday it’s another wasted week, but until then I really wouldn’t hold my breath.

March 8 will be the 14 weeks mark of the PTR. 8.3 spent 14 weeks on the PTR over the Christmas holidays. Feb 22, Mar 1 and Mar 8 all are possible due dates. Anything before that was not going to happen anyway.

I doubt they will add another fully mobile ranged. BM is kinda anomaly here.

Sorry, is there a point I am not getting? Both are from Shadowlands and are seemingly disliked by absolutely every player. But yes, you could just as easily say other parts of the Shadowlands are bad, or just go for it in its entirety.

I'd be down for a caster that can cast while moving permanently, similar to that shaman buff, but no micro-managing any kind of CD involved. In fact, it'd make sense for all casters to go that route if they keep insisting on making each season more mobility dependent than the last.
