Well, yeah. "PTR is going down" means a new build is on the way, not that PTR is done. They don't really turn them off anymore in between cycles.

There is a chance this will be release candidate. Will let us know its coming in just a few weeks. Of course if it isnt tagged as release, doesnt confirm its not coming either.

Last time build got marked as release candidate few hours after date got official reveal (19:00 CET on Thursday). I think we can assume patch is coming in two weeks only if today build is music build.

For fun and somewhat of a (very powerful) catch-up system, for 9.2.5 Blizz should make it so that the Heart of Azeroth is upgradeable to current ilvl and useable in Shadowlands. Make it so killing Jailer once a week upgrades the HoA, similar to the trinket from Legion but with less number of kills required to max it. (though knowing Blizz, they'd make it an excessive amount)

Killing the Jailer empowers you and your souldbinds increasing your dmage and healing, and reducing damage taken by 0.5% every week. Only works in Zereth Mortis and the raid.


Caps at 40 stacks around the end of November. 20% extra damage and healing and 20% damage reduction would be OP, but it would be fun being that OP for a few months when content doesn't matter.

Really, 9.2 needs to hit by end of Feb/early Mar. (And I'm fairly sure it will.) The people claiming an April or later release for 9.2 are just being doomsayers.
