I think it's important to notify people that a Dragonborn is a made up concept.

The name is made up, but the concept is not.

The trouble with Bards is that they have no basis in Warcraft lore as a hero. Wrathion is a dragoborne hero, Sylvanas is a Dark Ranger hero, Gazlowe is a Tinker hero.

There are no Bard heroes. When you have no Bard heroes, it becomes very difficult to create an expansion where Bards would fit.

Let's be honest here, there are only two classe concepts floating around that would be completely new and fresh: Tinkers and Dragonsworn / Dragonborne / Dragonxxx.

TBH I am glad the dungeon is unique. I hate how in the last few expansions, most dungeons are a copy pasted version of an outdoor area. "Dungeon" my ass.

And I hated it when a dungeon that should be visible as an outdoor arena isn't even there in the open world. "World of Warcraft" my ass.

And the Shadow Hunter, Blademaster, and don't forget the Alchemist.

Shadow Hunter is just Dark Ranger with a fancy name that has some Shaman / Shadow Priest things mixed into it, Blademaster is just a Warrior and Alchemist... maybe, but Monks already make use of Elixirs. And Alchemist is not too far away from Tinker.

Doesn't necessarily mean much as they are absolutely just gonna reuse and recolor this model for when they are inevitably gonna update the dragon models, but still easily faked.

That's true, but WoW doesn't have many bards (at all?). In ESO they are in every tavern and they sing in different languages and it's great, but WoW is clearly lacking that concept imho.

If I recall correctly, there is at least one copy of that same temple in Nazjatar (possibly another in Suramar? I'm not sure), so it's not impossible that they reused it. It wouldn't be too hard to photoshop some red leaves around it either, so the background isn't a massive clue one way or another.

The gear on that demon hunter isn't too fancy, but at a glance it isn't anything currently available in the game. Could be edited, could be real.

The dragon though... it doesn't look painted over. The low resolution helps, but I think that, at the very least, they would have had to go through the trouble of remodelling and retexturing a drake in order to fake that.

It's... plausible.

Okay, I forgot about Wrathion. The horn on the nose is slightly different, and the one in the picture doesn't have a ring around the left horn, but those changes are considerably easier to make.

It does look like it, with slightly different tones. So it's either a recolor by Blizzard, or just edited.

Yeah, looking at it that way, it wouldn't take too long to make such a screenshot with WoWModelViewer.

I'm kind of the reverse, myself. I like seeing at least part of the dungeon in the open world, it makes it seem like it is actually a part of it.

Elite Tauren Chieftain says Hi. And there are even more bards in the game now. Not to mention almost all RPGs, but definitely WoW, draw upon Dungeons & Dragons. And Bards are the one core Dungeons & Dragons class that isn't yet represented in this setting.

Alternatively, Monks say Hi. And don't say Chen Stormstout he was basically a shaman.

That picture reminds me of this from the old vanilla box art. Idk I guess if you were trying to recreate a specific vibe then it would make sense in that context.
