The top of Wyrmrest Temple has already been broken off presumably by Deathwing during Dragon Soul.

I can't imagine lore states they rebuilt it? More like just 2007 Dragonblight hadn't got a visual update when Deaths of Chromie happened.

Kind of the biggest question mark on that for me atm.

So let’s assume those pics aren’t fake (a perfect T shaped piece though) the possibilities are

1. Scarlet crusade
2. Twilight cult
3. Death Knights

My reason being that
1. They hate everything not human and are definitely being manipulated by a black dragon so why not. The only unknown is what that beam is

2. These guys definitely ain’t fans of any dragons and the temple holds significance in the creation of the dragon soul which if temple is destroyed then likely so would the ability to create another

3. There was a screen shot of a ziggurat above northrend in a cinematic that we had a while back and they would have the ability to do this plus they aren’t buddies with the red dragons


I might be missing something but those are my guesses based on the idea that the pictures are real

Yeah, like the last "chinese" leak, I feel the need to point out that there have been probably over a hundred of these "blurry photo at an angle phone picture" leaks over the years, and literally not one single time has any of them ever been real.

Is that even the WoW engine? The lighting looks wrong to me. Not to mention that apparently they've got floodlights in New Hearthglen now.

My guess would be that it's a private server/sandbox load of Northrend with some sort of 3rd party shader modification. On which New Heartglen has been modified, or even two screenshots spliced together.

Don't think that is in the WoW engine (reshaded or not), likely some third party render in something like Houdini/Redshift or whatever.

Remember that no matter how real a leak looks it can/will likely turn out to be fake.

Take the 8.3 Stormwind raid leak with the cinematic screenshot of the green ghost ships/people in the stormwind harbor for example

There's definitely a bunch of talented people out there. I've seen a lot of cool stuff made with assets exported from WoW, it is very possible to get to cinematic level quality renders if someone is talented/knowledgeable enough.
