I mean, even back then the Forges just kinda 'existed'
We went in to destroy the Soul grinder engines, which themselves were absolutely irrelevant outside of the dungeon.

At least this way they serve some proper purpose.

I don't know man. As cool as the cinematic is, and as much as I do like call-backs to old lore, and appreciate them tying up the knot with the reason Sylvanas shattered the sky over Icecrown, it doesn't sit right with me.

Arthas and Icecrown is sacred stuff.
I don't think it would reduce Yogg-Saron, frankly. The reduction of Arthas here is unfortunate, but nothing can be done about it—they are at least giving a slightly more interesting payoff than I expected, and I do think that Yogg-Saron is in no way reduced. Plenty of folks have used an Old God's bits before for their evil schemes, so it's not too bad for an opportunistic villain to simply happen to use Yogg-Saron's power.

What if Yogg-Saron's tendrils are near that massive beam of Azerite??? What will happen then to the Old Corpse??

Shocker a villain discarding those it finds useful. I mean.... yeah I'm not exactly jumping for joy at Arthas but....I didn't see Icecrown being literally a place where it can drain the soul of Azeroth.

I feel like we're way beyond the pale with that and have been. It was only a matter of time that they retroactively did that when everything else has been set up as a Jailer plot all along.

I love how a James Brown parody voiced by Metzen that you fight to weird industrial funk music is now indirectly a pivotal role in the "the final chapter in the tale of this star the finale to this chapter of the Warcraft saga."

    He ded, cinematic out.
Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.

"A cosmos divided will not survive what is to come." and the breach above ICC closing up.

"A Cosmos divided will not survive what is to come"

Once more the Void Lords are confirmed to be the ULTIMATE and MOST POWERFUL threat of the Warcraft Cosmos.

Who else would he be talking about, after all?

Just watched the final one ... Hmmmm. Don't know what to think of it.

So... that cinematic about ICC and FOS dungeon actually make sense why they censored Northrend in that "annoucement of the annocement" poster.
