Or alternatively, he wants to combine the cosmic forces against Reality, since that is the outside force from his perspective. He fears that the disparate cosmic forces will be too busy infighting to be able to stop us when we eventually unleash our true potential or whatever.
Would make for an interesting "twist" if the one thing he feared the most was always us and our murderhobo ways. I think that would put a nice spin on the whole First Ones debate if the big mystery is why they created six flawed cosmic forces and seemingly deliberately let a seventh one grow organically without much input.

It's almost definitely reality, the world that isnt a part of the six cosmic forces. It's described as "opposite" the six cosmic forces, both combining them and being in opposition, which is almost exactly what we see with our player characters.
The world revamp dream will never die!

"Doesn't answer" not "provides evidence to the contrary".

No. It definitely is not. It's a seperate force that exists outside the game's current universe, and it appears that is what the First Ones constructed it for in the first place. It might be that "enemy of all" the Light has allied with.
I speculate...that I finally come back to the game.
*bows* lol
But in all seriousness, I'm looking forward to it.

Do you guys think we'll see 9.2.5 hit the PTR before the 10.0 reveal?
I think the "what is to come" line is intentionally vague and could signal anything at any time.
I hate to say it, but I think SL is going to be a big black swan in the WoW community. After the backlash from BfA I think it was too late to steer the ship away from this version of WoW and it's game design, and that many things were cannabalized for 10.0.
From years of interviews I think it's pretty clear that the expansion cycles and direction of the game are headed in a particular direction long before most people realize, I think most expansion features are decided around the time it's predecessor launches. WoW is a big boat, and it's been hard to maneuver.
Hopefully, with the freedom we seem to observe from the M$ aquisition and the recent changes in language and feedback, we have hope that the next expansion will be a decent one.
That being said, if it's not a grounded classical fantasy experience I'm going to go full doomer, start actively posting hate threads on reddit, and I might even sub to asmongold.

The force the Jailer was referring to is very clearly going to end up being what force the Devourers belong to. They are the only part of the Shadowlands story that wasn't given any explanation or motivation. They also don't use any magic that correlates to Light/Void/Fel/Life/Death/Arcane.
I imagine the Crooked Serpent mentioned in Legion is their leader or their chief entity.
I can also see a scenario in which the Devourers are the Warcraft version of Mass Effect's Reapers.

I've seen that.
What's the point of giving her a new model, then? Or publishing a book about her after she's removed? Or even redeeming her? Beats me.
You wanted to know how they'd get through after the rift gets closed, no?
Entropy is already associated with Fel and Void.

Have people here already forgotten that the Ren'dorei's racial passive is "ENTROPIC Embrace" and it gives them a unique Void transformation?
Either Entropy is part of the broad domain of the Void or the Ren'dorei, on top of the Void they have mastered (which in itself is clearly the most lethal of the 6 forces), also wield the most primordial and most dangerous of the forces, the force that dooms all others unless they unite, Entropy.
I'm fine with either option honestly.

No Steve, if you said "wait and see" a lot is because you are doing a terrible job in the story, "multi expansion narrative" isn't working and isn't satisfying to play, especially when you tease yet again another big bad evil guy when we are ending the current one.If it seems like I say “wait and see” a lot, it’s because it’s difficult to talk in specificity about upcoming story points without spoilers.
