As always, I can't believe we're waiting these 5 weeks. Feels like we were put in timeout for being naughty. I am genuinely baffled at it, but it is what it is. I will be enjoying preparing for a pizza night for the Reveal. At least, I can plan for it and make it wholesome unlike Blizzard who seemingly have the worst Marketing Department on earth.

Well it's muffins.. so he probably is just facerolling elden ring with a faith based build.

I have to admit though, while I'd not be excited by the scarlet morons being the antagonists, the idea of uncovering something major from the starting point of a down to earth expansion would be awsome. Then I remembered that this is wow and we'd really be fighting just another malganis minion or we go straight into a cosmic light vs shadow exansion 2 seconds after the intro cutscene and forget all about the scarlets.

The obvious reason is that Blizzard would prefer to stretch the content out as much as possible to make the post-expansion drought as short as possible. Has we gotten the info right now then it would be exciting, but you wouldnt really have much else to look forward to outside gearing and whatever is added with 9.2.5.

9.2.5 may very well also have a big lead in for 10.0 and they may not want it dangling for a long time.
