Using that same link it also shows that the skeleton was gone in 8.2 - 9.1

I'd say there are a few things I'm not sure of – namely, it's very barren of features – but I am impressed with the realism in the formatting. They didn't get carried away and did it pretty adequately. The name sounds weird, but I also thought "Shadowlands" or "Battle for Azeroth" were weird names, too, and that didn't matter.

That's not the point. They've done something to the map, even in the backend, else it wouldn't get identified as updated. The fact that it's continuously being worked on somehow since 8.2 is kind of suspicious.

- New undead and NE customizations based on story

- Night Elves allowed to return to Azeroth as wisps where they help re-grow the forests

- Cross-faction guilds
- Can choose a dragonflight and empower some of your abilities. Can switch as much as you like but need a new farmable currency

I don't think it's that one because Blizz wouldn't do a blunder like Covenants again.

I don't think it's that one because Blizz wouldn't do a blunder like Covenants again.

Any change will do that, though. That doesn't mean anybody is actually working on it. It might just get bumped around because somebody put it on some asset list and now it keeps getting updated even though nobody is actually doing anything with it.

The Blood Elves were good prior to the end of TBC and their arc 'makes sense' on the most basic level. An ancient race who's traditions have worked for them for thousands of years reverting to their standard way of life the second the crisis that defined them is ended makes more sense than them still running a police state and using every kind of unethical magic out there to support their addiction. But without these elements they're just generic fantasy in elves that consume an inordinate amount of screentime.

Fair enough. I do think that the Paladin elements do separate them somewhat from the standard Elf mold, though—that, and their totalitarian tendencies are still there, I think, just moderated. It would be more interesting if they went full-on totalitarian, though, and become a Light-based benevolent dictatorship. Blood Elves in general do have the most opportunity for a distinct personality from standard fantasy Elves, I think, even to this very day. There are still interesting things to do with their plot.

Not saying Blizzard would definitely do that, but other companies (and certain production personnel on films & TV) have been known to frequent popular discussion websites to throw people off the scent. The professional wrestling industry is a prime example of this as well.

Well we've had verified leaks in the past and just like Reddit and 4Chan, MMOChampion is a cornerstone (although a tad more obscure) of the WoW forum community. These forums are not as niche as people on it pretend they are
