So long as Blizzard heavily retoncs what happens in the novels, buying them is pointless.

On the contrary. WoD, Legion and especially BfA marketing were flawless.
Strange that SL sold more copies and clearly had more people first days (cause there were queues afternoon on multiple days), despite weak theme and minimal marketing, hype just wasn't on Legion/BfA level in general. Imo it shows how stron were lockdown and Christmas factors.

Because SL had 0 build up from Legion or BFA, it is like playing Baldur's Gate or Pathfinder Wrath of the Righterous while fighting demons and dragons you are suddenly launch in the hyper meta physic universe in cap 2 without any reasons

Btw dunno if the green parrot guy here already noticed but on wow tools the Galakrond bones in the dragonblight map has gone missing this update.
What was the last novel they heavily retconned(excluding chronicles)?
Rise of the lichking and some shattering stuff is all that comes to mind as far as actual retcons go and not just characters changing there minds later on or not knowing of some one else’s actions like with sylvanas in BTS.
Evil only wins when it spreads. It can cause destruction, it can cause death—but those are consequences of its nature, not its victory. Not its goal. The danger of evil, the purpose of evil, is that it causes those who would oppose it to become evil also.

While I totally agree that they nailed the marketing for WoD and Legion, I am not sure about BfA. Was it that good? I really cannot remember. Or do you mean the Warbringer videos as part of the marketing etc.? If so yes, those did a great job in introducing us to crucial parts of the expansion. I just checked them again and Jaina has more views tham Azshara and Sylvanas combined (granted, the Jaina Warbringer was fantastic).

Oh, curious to see what @Marlamin has to say about this!
Make Alliance Great Again

Gonna do a wild guess and say the book will retcon a lot of stuff since she jumped from icecrown, legion interaction with helya and her pact, all bfa and shadowlands, trying to make some sense in a storyline, since the public clearly didn't like it, basically a damage control situation, explaining how we were wrong all along, and how things rly are.
He talked about it last night a bit.

Do anyone know when we see a Vendor'd PTR how long it usually takes before it goes up?
I no longer reply to quotations beyond if you're asking a genuine question or have a non-confrontational stance.
Yes but i refuse to acknowledge it because that one quest left some of the most impact on me to remember from the revamped leveling zones, and I did it only once since I usually play Ally.
That is what I fear, turn Sylvanas more into the victim and completely ignore all the victims to what she did.

If that logo is fake, then it's a really good fake since it does look very polished and has some unique designs to it, rather than the typical re-color of a past expansion logo with some assets swapped around that many fake logos have.
I almost want to believe that it's a real logo, but the expansion name is really dumb. But then again, I thought "Warlords of Draenor" and "Battle For Azeroth" were dumb names when they first leaked, and they ended up being true...
