There's also Northern Lordaeron that we still know nothing about and is the only closed-off area left in the old world.

Uther's Tomb, located in Eastern Lordaeron, was also updated in BfA.

Let it be known that I consider myself modest, but I 100% expect to be proven right about an expansion centred in Dragon Isles with major developments with the Void and Lordaeron too.

It's been very apparent the true goal their posting: baiting and derailing. And perhaps shitposting sprinkled on.


I fully expect them to eventually ditch that account altogether and create a brand new one, in order be more successful at what they are doing... or rebrand this current account to a different theme. Let's say... Yrel for instance.

I'm actually quite excited for the Sylvanas novel. I'm not happy that her story is being told in a novel versus in-game. However, since we can't change that fact, I'm still interested to see what is said.

I'm not. I think the novel getting pushed back as much as it did in order to either 1.) re-organize the story or 2.) scrap story elements altogether in fear of massive backlash (not confirmed, just speculation) makes me wonder if Blizzard anticipated a base amount of backlash regardless.


But I already got it pre-ordered so /meh

Sylvanas went to the Maw thanks to the Jailer having her Soulshard in her posession.

Her being "destined for the Maw" is laughable when Rev has souls in it that make Sylvanas look like a saint.

Still waiting for the "Garrosh was playing 6D chess the entire time..." twist.

Strange that SL sold more copies and clearly had more people first days (cause there were queues afternoon on multiple days), despite weak theme and minimal marketing, hype just wasn't on Legion/BfA level in general. Imo it shows how stron were lockdown and Christmas factors.

Because SL had 0 build up from Legion or BFA, it is like playing Baldur's Gate or Pathfinder Wrath of the Righterous while fighting demons and dragons you are suddenly launch in the hyper meta physic universe in cap 2 without any reasons

What was the last novel they heavily retconned(excluding chronicles)?

Rise of the lichking and some shattering stuff is all that comes to mind as far as actual retcons go and not just characters changing there minds later on or not knowing of some one else’s actions like with sylvanas in BTS.

9.2.5 still missing so we have no idea what in Shadow Risings or Sylvanas Book will be retconned or what the book will retcon.

While I totally agree that they nailed the marketing for WoD and Legion, I am not sure about BfA. Was it that good? I really cannot remember. Or do you mean the Warbringer videos as part of the marketing etc.? If so yes, those did a great job in introducing us to crucial parts of the expansion. I just checked them again and Jaina has more views tham Azshara and Sylvanas combined (granted, the Jaina Warbringer was fantastic).

They have been missing since the map was mined.

Pretty much. The map itself isn't insignificant, but the fact it was "updated" pretty much is. Format updates, changes to files the map uses or some dev randomly opening it could all trigger updates. It's just another thing that got blown out of proportion by Reddit.

My question with the whole Sylvanas / Jailer meeting is how did he circumvent the Arbiter in the first place?

Or was it just an illusion because he had part of her soul?

Or was she really destined for the Maw because the Arbiter knew what she would do. In which case, why didn't the Arbiter try to warn anyone what Zovaal was doing?

Doing suicide on top of ICC which already was Zovaal's conduit on Azeroth probably gave him chance to step in before Kyrians got Sylvana's soul.

Atleast that's how I believe Blizz will handwave this issue.

they basically did that already with the removal of the dialogue.

But i don't doubt if they make an entire new narrative of how everyone, including garrosh, was to blame about her actions, everyone else push her to do this, she is not the one to blame

Empire of Dragons really sounds like someone put "Black Empire" and "Dragon Isles" together, which is probably why the logo is all voidy, but the name sounds odd. Imagine creating such a good logo and then picking such a nonsense name.
