The thing is one of the most idiotic ideas ever added to the story anyway, even worse than the stupid sword in silithus and the ICBM horde catapults in the war of thorns. That sword at least had the "uh, err, magic n stuff" going for it, the cannon is just pure distilled dumbassery. Just let them use rockets if they want to switch to long distance warfare.. instead if making up ICBPs that aim around half the planet.

And Gallywix being in the Shadowlands is actually not that weird to me. He's got money, he's likely got a lot of things still stashed away, Brokers likely got in contact somehow (or he to them). Not hard.

Also I think every race should have tinkers. There's really no reason every race can't take up tinkering, like how every race can be a war. Cuz who can't swing a sword?
