Yes, I completely agree with your statement. I hope we get more exchanges like this, as this is proof good writing doesn't have to take three patches and 10 NPCs to take root: if it's good, it's good, even if it's just one dialogue, as simple as that.

If so... why is she integral to 9.2.5?? Unless the questline is Forsaken players killing her.

I also think Velonara should've been here.
I think Calia will be involved in some sort of Forsaken questline, bringing a sense of closure to the race after Sylvanas' betrayal and conclusion. A similar quest will probably be set up for Night Elves.

Another thing, the Shadowlands skybox is fixed to be in it's more brightened and cheery state instead of the Maw eating Oribos alive, after completing the final quest.

The Forge is still broken though, despite Bolvar saying it isn't. I assume this has to be patched.

I want him to be a grizzled Alliance veteran crushing orc skulls and conquering Lordaeron.
Alleria and Turalyon are very interesting characters.

Before Legion, they had a lot of hype, they were two of the most anticipated characters to appear in WoW. I, an Alliance player, like you, was always fascinated by the idea of these two legends of the old Alliance returning.

Since Legion, they have returned and the mystery surrounding them has been revealed, they seem to be getting underrated now. Not many talk about them, not many care that they now lead the Alliance. But the next expansion will make people see.

Turalyon is an absolute badass, the one who rallied the Seven Kingdoms and formed the Alliance, Lothar's successor, the one who reclaimed Stormwind, Varian Wrynn's regent... he and Alleria are two of the most badass characters ever in the Alliance and I am happy that they now lead the faction, naturally with the consent and full support of the House of Nobles.

That's good news, I hated that gloomy skybox.

Definitely, but I don't know why they would set up Anduin doing something here for 9.2.5 (encrypted model) but not Calia. I'm tired of them hiding her.

Agreed. Let's see some interesting content out of Dictator Turalyon.

Also if there's this much focus on Lordaeron now with Calia and Turalyon, there's no way that 10.0 is just Dragon Isles right?

I'm maintaining Lordaeron has the most evidence for any kind of important content, but I'm willing to ping myself if I'm not correct about it.

It can be kicked back to 11.0 if they do what BFA does (sets up Dragons and Death, pick Death for 9.0 and Dragons for 10.0) but I feel like Dragons and Lordaeron will be connected somehow. Easiest way is if it's just Cataclysm 2.

Also weird to do huge leadership changes in BFA for Horde and SL for Alliance and then ignore them for another island expansion.

It does, what a twist! We could still get Lordaeron with a sprinkle of Dragon Isles though. Blizzard does love their twists, no matter if anybody wants them or not

I honestly cannot help but feel that the entire idea of "Light is evil and fascist" is just inherently political and that part of the wish for an evil Turalyon is not because it makes sense in the story but out of a desire to see the Alliance hit with the villain bat for a turn. What really sounds crazy is how many people keep repeating about Turalyon being a zealot when he saw his own goddess (that he lived with for ten thousand years and who probably saved his life innumerable times) being killed in front of him but could still be stopped and still worked with the man who killed her and was still able to advocate for his wife even though she joined with the very opposite force of what he represents. That . . . does not sound like a zealot to me.

Or Lordy is part of a revamp and the max level stuff is Dragons. I can see people getting asshurt if the max level content is "medieval town with zombies"

I honestly don't see it as political at all—I think it's just an Animesque attempt to up the stakes regardless of how reasonable it is. I do hope that it is somewhat emphasized that the whole "brainwashing" shtick is pretty justifiable on the Light's part. Besides, Illidan and Gey'arah, even if I really like the latter as a character, are not good judges of character. One is a lunatic narcissist LARPing as a world-saving superhero and the other is the successor of the slavedriving, highly-militant Iron Horde and probably just salty she can't be the big conqueror lady instead of Yrel.

I'd say that Turalyon definitely never struck me as a zealot—even when Illidan murdered the millennia-old leader of the Army of the Light, he pretty much put aside his grudge to defeat the Legion. He actually comes off as pretty limp-wristed to me.

Sylvanas has special words for Loyalists.

<player>. It is fitting that we share a few final words here, as I stand upon the precipice of judgment.

You have shown me loyalty time and time again, even when others spurned you for it. Even when my own actions did not merit such dedication.

I'm not certain what fate awaits me. But if one day I have need of trusted allies, I know that I can call upon you.
    You are officially best buddies!

The Dragon Isles are under Lordaeron. The place is like Enkanomiya.

Hmmm in fact Enkanomiya is connected to dragons.

But which one of them is Exploding?
Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.

No, you've got it all wrong. It will be Void Elves Tinkers riding Dragons. And it cannot be any other way, because I said so.

OK, I'll stop, I'm making myself cry.
