Not just having Maelstrom, EK, Kali, Northrend, Pandaria, Broken Isles, KulTiras and Zandalar on the same map, but also all the instanced off islands (like from the island expeditions) and other stuff like that.
That would be an absolute dream come true.

I think it might also be because Lordaeron is one of the worst areas in WoW as far as telling us the history of the area as well as representing the lore.
Immediately I want to say that I don't mean the zone questing is bad. The Forsaken questlines from Cata are among the best quest writing in WoW and do a marvelous job of building up the Forsaken as a culture (that later sources completely retcon).
We know very little of the actual structure of the Seven Kingdoms. The way the place is represented is also so weird. WHERE was Alterac? Was it just a mountain pass? Where exactly is Alterac Valley meant to be? Could we ever have Quel'thalas joined with the world and thus actually have the north coast of Lordaeron (and is Stratholme a port? If not does it have an adjacent port? Where do the Forsaken have a port, what with their fairly extensive navy?). It also fails to really give us much lore on those Kingdoms. I still have no idea why there is no Human category in archeology.

Compare them to orcs (so, so much lore), trolls, elves, dwarves, we just don't get an equal amount of human history in the game which is so weird given they are EVERYWHERE (the tauren and goblins have it even worse).

Have you ignored the rest of the reply? What would be the point of the central piece in oribos if it was only for the rare maw souls. I think all souls pass through there before shooting off to their realm judged by the arbiter

Oh hell yes. Like I understand why FFXIV put in load screens, but nowadays it just makes me feel I'm not exploring an open world. (And indeed I'm not. Kinda). The openness is one of the things I still appreciate in WoW.

I feel Eastern Kingdoms in particular really needs that. To actually fit things. I mean if you tried to make Lordaeron, Gilneas and Stromgarde the size of Boralus, you need more space (Lordaeron should be even bigger tbh).

Honestly what I'd love from a revamp is to a) possibly merge zones and b)maybe actually ADD zones.
Some places in Azeroth make no sense whatsoever. Primary example for me is Northern Kalimdor. There really would need to be some zone hugging Moonglade and Winterspring helping to ease the elevation. And don't blame it on the Sundering; cliffs like those would have just collapse over ten thousand years. And I'd also love some underground zones. As a huge Underdark fan, I just want them. Hyjal Barrows should extend from Felwood to Azshara. A significant cavern system is beneath Stonetalon (and we don't even have a dungeon). Terramok could be a zone. Blackrock Caverns could be a zone.

Upscaled Lordaeron, Gilneas, Quel'Thalas, Barrens or Feralas... what I wouldn't give for those

Also IIRC EK is in area quite smaller than Kalimdor (but both could be bigger if they made proper important locations)

who said that Anduin has an encrypted model? in 9.2.5 I didn't find it on wowhead. In trying to understand the future of the characters, the narrative seems incoherent.

Well, what wouldn't you? Don't leave us hanging. I have Professor Woland on the line and he is really interested.

Honestly Kul Tiras is perhaps the first time in WoW I felt a kingdom had a reasonable scale. Not a good scale, but a reasonable one. Stormwind could if they revamped the adjacent zones properly and they did not look like disaster zones. Lordaeron ones could never.

I agree, they did a good job with KT.

I am truly a WoW fan, through and through, nothing more. I love WoW and, like everyone else (mostly), I am HYPE AF for 10.0 news. Praying for a 9.2.5 PTR build!

Wowhead didn't news it (it's also not really huge news or anything, since it's well, encrypted).

so im convinced Xal is either
    1. void lord
    or
    2. Old god because theres one more according to small hints in chronicles

either way she has a connection to the thing under the sunwell and that would give her power to make a void flight

I want a Xal expansion SO FUCKING BAD. She's gotten all the mystery and buildup the Jailer wishes he got.

The most comical thing about all these 'leaks' are the EXCRUCIATING detail they all give on the story ahead when absolutely NO real Leak has ever given that much info before 'vague story beats, a name and some general themes'.

For all you leak writers for the days and weeks ahead, take note:

Full cast list with defining story arcs for every character: Red Flag and fake
Mention of Cinematics within zones/names of cinematics: Red Flag and fake
Full details on Patch details: OBVIOUS Red Flag and fake
Excessive amount of 'wish list items' like 'Player housing, 5 new allied races, class skins and classes being every race': Obvious Red flag and fake
