The fact that they all have a different culture besides Velf (at the moment) is cool IMO.

And also what you say points to this being the end of Elfcraft anyway, as there are no more elves to make.

As for why they would announce the name ahead of time... maybe to get people to actually watch? If they announce ahead of time that it's a revamp, I bet way more people will be interested.

this map shows the old location of Dragon Isle, but it can't be THAT small yet, if it's going to get a significant role in upcoming expansion

Counterpoint, if they don't spoil it then they can ride the hype wave more effectively, instead of revealing to start with and making players disappointed when their preconceived notions are dashed.

The only satisfying conclusion clearly. Sylvanas plummets down from the edge of Oribos and as she breaks her kneecaps upon the earth, shaped of the ground-down, sutured souls of the innocent she hears a voice in the darkness greeting her.

The creator could easily make a few adjustments. Also wouldn't know why they would announce the logo ahead of time. That takes so much away from the reveal and they already made a post about when the reveal will happen.

An over abundance of Elves really isn't anything new. Every big franchise has at least 3 flavors of elves. Dungeons and Dragons has around 80 or something.

Making Darkfallen a preorder race makes sense. It's an easy thing to create and people really like elves. They're not my thing, but I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

Who knows really. I also recall there has been a few times where leaks has been intentional to create hype. But I sadly do not recall for what game, I could be misremembering it as well so don't take my word for it.

OG dragon isles was nothing but a raid. So depends how close they want to stick to the original concept.

Yes, but the text "A DIFFERENT AZEROTH AWAITS..." and the different background map indicates way more that it is a revamp than "The Awakenings" since that shows no indication towards what the expansion is

VE are literally BE and NB will submit to BE. NE with DH have no reason to maintain their cultural practices with the Legion's defeat. the former have already turned diurnal. pump them full of magic (nature will do) to make their ears erect like normal elves and it's done - same ice cream, different flavor.
but there are elves to make out of other races. VE is a thalassian regime change project to unify the Alliance with Silvermoon. the Horde is already under their thumb - just turn its' symbol upside down: it's the thalassian phoenix. once they rule the world, it's eugenics time.
i've done my research of the Protocols of the Magisters of Quel'thalas, it's all in there.

These fakes are becoming more dumb by the day.

I'm pretty sure Awakenings or some variation of it is the most used leak name. Every expansion we have leaks over Awakening. It's almost a tradition at this point

The Ren'dorei are now in a prime position to accomplish their ambition and plan: Reclaiming Quel'Thalas for the Alliance.

The Horde has never been in a weaker position while the Alliance is led by a mighty war general and not some sheltered brat. The new High King also shares the desire to reclaim former holdings of the Alliance, of which Quel'Thalas is one.

I am expecting great things lorewise from the next expansion.

It seems like everything I have been predicting for years about the Ren'dorei is all slowly starting to turn into reality.
