So Dragonflight is pretty much reality unless it's some false trail planted by Blizzard, right?

And don't fall into same trap again. Name is too generic to believe any leak. Some people still believe old "Shadowlands" leak with N'zoth and Xiros was real because "leaker" got name right.

But for sure it makes revamp less likely (or maybe it's soft revamp with updating world without changing story/zones), Dragon Isles must be continent for expac like this.

Cataclysm had revamp and five zones.

No one batted an eye because everyone immediately recognized it was fake.

It's funny you say that. Until today EoA was the most likely real leak.

Also Dragons into Light vs Void matches up with the prophecy about us fighting the Void together with a massive flight of Dragons. Maybe the flights unite into one.

If Chromatus is involved in this dragon expansion, could that screenshot of the necropolis flying over borean tundra be real? It says on his wowpedia that his location is : Arcane Prison, Northrend. The arcane prisons are located at/around the nexus and that seems to be where the necropolis is headed.
I will not reply to posts that are non-constructive or contain flaming and/or trolling.

I missed this one. Do you have a link to it?

    @Makorus @ercarp

He made a post stating how much Blizzard had learned from SL feedback going into 10.0. However, @Vakir caught the post before Catastrophy very quickly edited it from "We've learned a lot" to "They've learned a lot".

Vakir managed to get a screenshot and playfully called out Catastrophy, and ever since Catastrophy has been notably absent from the thread.

I do wonder if they have figured out how to animate a multiheaded rig properly.

What leak was that? Any links?

N'Zoth will be the main villain of World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, returned to usher in the return of the Black Empire.

Five lanterns now darkened. The flames they seek will light the Masters' way.

The Five Lanterns are the Five Dragon Aspects. A lantern is something that burns bright and carries a flame, just like dragons. The belly of a dragon literally lights up when they are about to use a flaming attack. The Five Lanterns are now darkened; the light of their immortality is vanished, and their very eyes lost their glow to reflect this. They seek something in the Dragon Isles, Wrathion explicitly stated that he was looking for them for a purpose, and what they seek will benefit N'Zoth.

Five keys to open our way. Five torches to light our path.

The first part of this sentence refers to the Pillars of Creation, the five keys that were required to end the Legion's invasion, and ensure that N'Zoth's plan could be carried out without the Legion's meddling. The second part of this sentence refers to the Dragons. You will notice how they are referred as "torches", which fits once more in the semantic field of "bright object that carry light/flame", along with lanterns. The Dragon's fire will light N'Zoth's path. What they seek, their efforts to get it, will only play into N'Zoth's plan, because they seek the same thing. N'Zoth will use the darkened "lanters", the darkened "torches", to find a way. They are the light that will light his path i.e. he'll manipulate them to get what he wants.

The veil wanes. His crown will open the way.

The Veil between Life and Death is shattered, the Crown of the Lich King was destroyed to do so, this benefit N'Zoth's plans. With the defenders of Azeroth concerned and faraway in the Shadowlands, N'Zoth has ample opportunities to re-establish his power on Azeroth, a world left undefended. The Scourge's rampage, a direct consequence of the breaking of the helm and the veil, makes N'Zoth's plans even easier to set in motion and makes his enemies even more overwhelmed.

Conclusion: N'Zoth will return, as was predicted long ago. And the only ones who can stand against him are the Ren'dorei, who are the first who defied the Void whispers. The Ren'dorei will lead the Alliance in Dragon Isles, as they have the power to fight the Old God and the knowledge to save the Dragons from his whispers.

I think it was just a clever-ish LARP tbh.

So, what bridges or leads are there in SL that could lead to a dragon xpac? Ysera was already written off as not returning to Azeroth, and I honestly can't think of any Gul'dan so to say that could come from SL and somehow trigger the Dragonflights. I guess it's going to be something completely new and/or older than SL.

It is interesting that Chromatus' current location is "Arcane prison, Northrend". Arcane prisons are in that Kirin Tor area close to the nexus in Borean Tundra. The necropolis in the screenshot is also floating above Borean tundra seems to be heading exactly there. It is a really big coincidence.

As simple as Wrathion looking for Dragon Isles since BfA.

I guess it's possible. First time I'm seeing this though. Any idea where it was "leaked" first?

Oh yeah, of course - there's plenty of stuff they could do with pre-SL story. I'm just curious what specifically the SL tie-in could be, or if they're going to be completely dropping SL altogether.

I saw it here but I think it was originated from 4Chan. Its from like almost a year ago I think, when people were still speculating what 9.2 would be and if we would be returning to northrend in SL.

It's either Jailer did some damage to Azeroth during our fight with him and we gotta get some help from dragons to save the planet (plus maybe some stuff with Silithus sword?) or maybe we get Galakrond and undead dragons because of Helm of Domination being gone.
