Blizzard makes big and small changes to the lore all the time to fit whatever story they have envisioned in their minds. In 2007, it was also thought that Deathwing was a prisoner of Alexstrasza, but things happened, and a few years later he was trying to barbecue Azeroth.
Also even if Chromatus was dead, it doesn't matter because "dead" characters are brought back all the time in WoW. Illidan and Kael'thas are probably two of the most famous examples. They can do anything they want with Chromatus and at that point whatever is written in Wowpedia won't matter anymore because they'll just come up with some new retcon to fit the bill.
Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.
Please, read the damn wiki:
It was in this moment that all four Aspects unleashed the a pure white hue which brought Chromatus to fall. [4]
Concerned that some other dark power might try to revive Chromatus after its defeat, the dragons attempted to destroy the corpse. They failed. Some powerful spell, probably woven into the dark marriage of magic and technology that had animated him in the first place protected the body from all their efforts to obliterate it. Kalecgos stated that Malygos created a number of Arcane Prisons during the Nexus War, and Alexstrasza decided that representatives from all the flights would watch over the body of Chromatus, as he is not dead.[5]
Micro Classes is a disaster waiting to happen and I don't get why more people aren't pointing it out.
So this is a class with no flexibility, if you want to not DPS with it you have to reroll. That means leveling again, doing the inevitable campaign again, doing the inevitable rep grinds again, doing the inevitable artifact power grind again, and having to re-gear again because none of that is account-wide.
It screams someone who took one look at FF14 and said "their answer is to have a lot of smaller classes" without taking 5 minutes to consider why having lots of smaller classes works, and it works solely because changing from one class to another costs you nothing except time to level and time to gear (and they have numerous ways of making both those costs substantially less too). WoW if you want to change, it's going to cost you so much a lot of people don't even bother anymore.
FFXIV - Maduin (Dynamis DC)
lol literal shit tier writing
it's not dead, it's just unconscious, but you can't kill it cause magic, so wait til we pull it out of our asses in 10 years so you can put it back to sleep again
I guess magic also takes care of the nutrients it needs
magic explains everything
suck a couple of dicks you queers
What is up with all these alt accounts these days?
16 days can't come soon enough
Something's not quite right, a lot of alt accounts have been made and banned this leak season it makes me question the validity of all of them.
Imagine still using queer as an insult. That reminds me of that one time someone told George Takei that he sucks. And he responded with "And quite well, I am told."

Well, there will be plenty of flaming with....*puts on sunglasses* a dragon expansion.
I'll take what I can get at this point with a revamp. I just feel like Blizz absolutely have the capabilities to give us a full world revamp, especially if they have been working on it for years.
People tend to point back at Cataclysm and say a full world revamp can only hinder the rest of the game, but that isn't true because Cataclysm was received pretty favourably up until Dragon Soul, which tarnished its reputation.
I want new zones and revamped old zones. I want a reason to level fresh new characters again. I want those zones to have relevant max level content in them, in both the form of max level campaigns and to interact well with the fresh batch of new zones.
Whilst I would definitely be content with a Dragon Isles expansion complete with a revamped Northern Eastern Kingdoms, I won't be able to help but feel disappointed at the same time because it is definitely in Blizzards capabilities to pull off a full revamp.
I genuinely don't think it's expecting too much.
However, if Dragonflight is a combination of Legion and MoP with SOME small iterations of content from BfA and SL, then I'll be happy. Just not as happy as I could be, ya know?
