Thank you. Hard to keep track, lol.
Every color of the rainbow... this sounds so cringe yet totally fits what Blizzard would do as we've seen in the past months.
MAGA - Make Alliance Great Again
It can’t be helped, you learn to live with it according to victims. Severe trauma is like a loved one dying but that loved one is you.
But anyway, they can emphasize her anger and compassion as you said. Maybe not vengeance (her past enemies are dead and revenge trope got used by Sylv) but protecting her clutch against the likes of poachers, breeders, experimenters, etc.
What do you mean? She literally tears open the sky and the veil to the Shadowlands.
Yes the leak aimlessly features dragons. Supposed floating Dragon Isles continent. With zero explanation of how that will connect to the next expansions story because the person who created it has no idea.
People have made it clear that they prefer World-building over Generic Moustache Twirling villain of the month.
That cinematic is sufficient to generate more hype and less outrage than Suevanas vs. Bolvar did.
Probably Elune will grant this because she and her sister needs the Aspects to bless the seeds for the new World Tree. Only Elune can do that, but the first time was Freya that gives them the Aspetc Powers...
"The vassal of life disguises treachery. Beware the eyes of green."
Alexstrasza the Life-Binder got red eyes... but Freya is Eonar's vassal and got green eyes as well.
"Five lanterns, now darkened. The flame they seek will light the masters' way."
That was a Legion theory about the link between the Dragons and the World Trees...
Argus in 2018 My prediction failed in part... But I'm still a Spacegoat
One thing that cinematic "leak" description that makes me wonder, the logo glittering rainbow colors, there wasn't any evidence of that in that possibly leaked art with Alexstrasza, right?
Granted that's still art and not animated but you'd think if it were rainbow colored in any way it'd show through, but I don't recall it being such.
interesting description on the cinematic! Who knows.
I will not reply to posts that are non-constructive or contain flaming and/or trolling.
That description is insanely detailed. But I so wish it's true.
Ok but like...after all of what's occurred. I feel like a Cinematic akin to Classic or whatever, but with us establishing a new continent on the WORLD OF AZEROTH, and an expansion centered around the land overall and the adventures for us to go forward on regarding Dragons would be PERFECT! So much bloodshed and conflicts, and so many godlike threats, I just want to explore a magical fantasy Dragon land with lots of varied areas while also still on Azeroth. Let's continue the Cosmic shit next expac or whatever, lemme just explore Azeroth's Undermine, explore the Dragon isles or summ like that.
1. I don't see how the game being Single or Multiplayer makes a difference. There is no way to focus on our characters because or the sheer variety of PC's that exist. The only reason XIV gets away with it is because they basically said fuck it to every other PC except one.
The only cinematic that didn't have a central character was Vanilla (BC kinda?) Even the MoP one which was the closest to what you're asking for still centered on Chen in the end.
Cinematics which help the viewer gain emotional resonance with the character being shown i.e WotLK/Legion are usually the best ones.
A cinematic focusing on blank slates like Vanilla wouldn't work again because there is no more mystery regarding the races we can play. Showcasing them for the first cinematic of the game only worked because nobody knew what to expect and its purpose was defining them.
2. I'm not really concerned with in-game cinematics. Those are far easier to produce, but we only get a single cinematic per expansion (BFA being the only exception.)
The cinematics are too short to really do any meaningful storytelling, my concern is Blizzard creating a cinematic that is fun to watch. So to me showing a post BFA Tryande and others would be far more satisfying than one showing blank-slates I won't remember. There are plenty of ways to center Tyrande in a nelf scene while also including others.
3. The BFA cinematics were fun to watch and overall a successful endeavor. Even if the storytelling was poor, the fact that we got multiple CGI cinematics which was unprecedented was really exciting. The art alone is enough to make them memorable.
MMOs are a bad medium to tell stories in anyways, so I don't see the point in limiting the game's art just to work with it. To me it is Gameplay > Art > Story as far as my priorities for WoW.

So, IF this were to be the cinematic (Which is HIGHLY doubt but whatever lol), then I'll be happy tbh. We need Azeroth's WORLD to be the main character again, something I think Legion KINDA did (Not wholly, but we did explore the old world a bit, which was cool tbh), and something BFA fucked up on entirely.
