Those children are growing up on a continent that was for ages dominated by night elves and are thereby basically surrounded by night elven ruins.
They are bound to learn about those stories and legends.

People are really setting themselves up for disappointment with that text leak if they're basing it off a few easy guesses.

The only thing we can be sure about is the name. All of the other stuff is more or less rumors and wishful projection.

You're assuming a number of things there.

There's some things pointing to that, yes, but are they confirmed? The PTR is live, isn't it? Is Quel'thalas merged into one zone there right now?

Don't act as if these are all 100% done and confirmed. Marlamin told you

I wouldn't put Dalaran in that list just yet -- they update old models like that all the time. It being so many updates is unusual but Dalaran is also one of the biggest models. Also worth mentioning nobody actually looked at what was updated yet.

So before you go hollering to the high hills that Dalaran is updated, maybe wait and see what was updated.

The leak was right in multiple ways except for the parts I dismiss because I don't like it.

Tbf, enemy tribute stories aren't that uncommon even in RL culture.

I'm just saying that those files are just that, files. We already had unused files in the past. The name for the expansion is set, everything else - as I said.

TBF, Dragon Isles location is right next to Lordaeron and Quel'thalas. So that's not hard to guess. Especially coupled with the Lordaeron shields and human updated buildings that predate the leaks.

Dragonmaw under Garrosh still had the demons chains and still did the same things they did under Nekrosh, case closed, read the book next time.

Having some Lordaeron shields update, which werent even in the live build at launch of 9.2 ndr, doesnt really tell us that are there.


At best tells us that they revamped some Lordaeron stuff, and if we want to believe is a Lordaeron revamp which is the same stuff the leak suggested, but the leak itself said floating between Northrend and Broken Shore


Which seems more plausible since is closer to Wyrmrest Temple

Continent-sized means being comprised of multiple zones and not being a singular zone.

Multiple zones on a bunch of islands really isn't that hard to pull off without them being unnaturally large. Mostly because the actual continents in game are unnaturally tiny.

Kultiras was in the game way before and in the lore game wasnt a "myth" which is quite different.



So Pandaria was shrouded, ok plausible.

Dragon Isle are floating hence nobody can really find them by sailing.

Yeah, nothing is to scale. Not sure why people think the Dragon Isles couldn't be a "continent" for an expansion. There's still a lot of room left before Blizzard has to make them bigger than they are.

Didn’t the quest you get from island expeditions that first mentioned the dragon isles in game say that Wrathion was looking for them? In other words the location was unknown. Though I guess they could retcon that.

Kul Tiras, was a nation like Gilneas that still was doing commerce with Stormwind and other alliance cities.
