FFXIV - Maduin (Dynamis DC)
Also things like Undermine being Wrathion’s zone is very clever for Blizz and is way more in line with how they have developed zones lately.
In most dragon leaks, Black Dragon zone is just Lava Lava Land #55. Not “seedy crime city that happens to be in a Volcano that Deathwing was responsible for blowing up” because they aren’t that creative. It allows for a Black Dragon themed zone that isn’t just “lol dragons” and has more going on.
Nope, just going to be talking about some datamining methods I utilitize that aren't generally known and allow for finding a bit more information than what is currently out there about these and other encrypted things (but nothing spoilery) in the hopes of Blizzard fixing these as we got into 10.0 (and hopefully making it harder to datamining spoilers in the future).

Expansion announcement February 28th. Announcement for the announcement planned for the 18th
Not only that the dates are wrong, but when you look closer to it they did not only changed the announcement dates
but also
Increased the time between the announcement of the announcement and the reveal from
(18.2-28.2) (10 days)
To 14.3-19.4. (36 days)
Why they they didnt keep the 10 days between those announcements?
From the beginning a only 10 day in-between seemed very suspicious.

Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.
- Slyvanas, main protagonist of the last 2,5 xpacs.
- Throw Sylvanas into the maw, for a long long time.
- Half the playerbae hates Sylvanas, after that shit story.
- „We close a chapter now“ (S. Danuser).
„Sylvanas is the main character of new xpac!!!“
doesnt this make sense ?
tbh:
i dont even care, if next xpac sucks or not. i am just happy, when it’s April 19th and all that stupid shit ends.![]()

It took 4 IRL years for Sylvanas to get punished. People got mindbroken into being slobbering morons by Blizzards dumbass choice to do a four year story arc without satisfying midpoints.
I think they vastly underestimated how sensitive their playerbase is. Nathanos was meant to be the first half antagonist, hence why he bullied the players, but people treated it like they were getting abused by the devs themselves.

You're very white hat about this. I admire and appreciate it. As juicy as datamining is, in an ideal world we won't know fuck all until we experience it in game outside class changes and tuning. It really does fuck with and color experiences before they happen, so things that are authentically well done get to be experienced as intended (like if Sargeras' sword wasn't totally ruined, or Pelagos Arbiter that was at least better with context) while things that are genuinely shit still get criticized as they're seen rather than via knee jerk impressions (like the Anduin and Jailer endings).
I bet you a couple robux that Marl found something Dark Ranger related.
C'mon you guys have to be smarter than this: You're giving credibility to a leak just because of the name AFTER it was confirmed? Don't you remember the week of fake shadowlands leaks after the name was confirmed? That Xenos map? The fake cgi stormwind docks cinematic? The microclasses leak is the same level as the "Sylvanas bombs stormwind & everyone dies, goes to the shadowlands" week you were all convinced was real because it was titled "Shadowlands leak"

Much anticipated can also mean "a lot of people were expecting this thing to happen" too.
Which I think is the more likely definition at play here.

...the one in question is from early February. Well before the name leak. It helps to know what you're talking about.
For the record, though, I don't believe it either, but this is such a (usual) misfire of an argument.
Also the ghost harbor bullshit leak was way before we saw the Shadowlands logo, Bolvar CGI, Kyrian flier, etc. Everyone was already predicting the Shadowlands.
