Neither GW2 or ESO raise the level cap with their expansions but players can still progress and it still feels pretty good. EQ alternates between level caps raises and non raises (the non raising expansion uses an alternate advancement system, which is what I want WoW to have, though closer to ESO's system, which works wonderfully)
Microclasses are stupid though.

I am in agreement. But you said that it came from after the name leak when it didn't.
Quote,
Take the damn L. Literally for once. "Whoops, I messed up, my bad."C'mon you guys have to be smarter than this: You're giving credibility to a leak just because of the name AFTER it was confirmed?
If you think for two seconds about what goes into a new class, even a single one, this is far beyond Legion.
If I'm wrong it will be a pleasant surprise. Stuff sounds dope even if I'm sure it'll be a balancing nightmare, but isn't everything.![]()

I think it's pretty clear that only narrative purpose for Anduin staying in SL is to delay conflict with Turalyon. And that will for sure start some "Light as villain" arc.

Mounts and transmogs are status-symbols, not dress up.
That's why "rare" titles, "unique" mounts and the "best" appearances are restricted to mythic raiding.
The concept of "welfare epics" has led to including a lot more of these at a lot of other levels of content, which is why as a whole they are less valued than ever before. Like how the KSM mount is used for like 1 week and then half the players have it so no one cares anymore.

My gf told me that GW2 has no new leveling content for it's expansions and they are doing just fine. You will still get the same story campaign you would do anyways, just without the hassle of new levels and you will prolly be able to skip the campaign on alts for quicker endgame play. Sounds good to me. (And for the record, I love leveling and that part isn't something I'm wanting but it would be worth it if we get the micro classes, class skins aswell as housing).
And leveling four new classes ontop of housing is the opposite of "devoid of content" in my eyes, especially as we still would get 8 dungeons for m+ and prolly a 10 boss raid for season 1.
If you only use a mount, transmog or title because you wanna brag - well you do you but looks like you have to compensate for something. The time were mounts are status-symbols are long gone, that was during tbc/wotlk/cata where you only had a handful of skins - these days there are tons of awesome mounts, titles and transmogs and yes, most normal people use that stuff for dress up, not for posing.
Edit: And yes, there are currently tons of mounts that are awesome and you can get without doing any mythic or elite content.

Hard disagree. The dragons in Aszuna and the Withered were side plots compared to the first leg of the zone but they took the majority of the duration. The Nightmare had way more presence than the Legion in Val'sharah, though obviously there is somewhat of an alliance happening. The Drogbar and Maela's deal are more the focus of Highmountain story than the Feltotem, and while Stormheim leans on the predication that Skovald is working with the Legion, it's themed way more strongly around Vrykul culture and Helya.
Suramar is about the Nightborne leadership making a deal with the Legion...but up until the Inquisition developments in 7.1, it's largely about their culture and addiction rather than just "lol demons."
The Legion is seeded into all of it, but it's not just a big green fucking shitmark all over every zone and crams itself into every corner. Just like Northrend or Pandaria had diverse threats that weren't just Arthas or the Sha/Garrosh plot. The big bad focus strengthened over time to avoid burnout (or had a break in the Thunder King's case).
Theoretically, the best version of Dragonflight will have dragons take a bit of a side seat until the later patches that ramp it up. Or else it gets tiresome over 2 years.

the reality is: mobile games make better revenues. more profit. perfect for greedy comapnies. because you can way better grab ppls money by smart cash grab systems. mobile gaming is only there, as a transport medium for smart cash grab systems. look at hearthsone and others. how do you think Blizz made money with it? and how high do you think, the development costs of a game like HS is? in comparison to WoW or maybe Overwatch ?
do a poll. ask 10.000 wow players if they wanna either a) a better wow pc game (a well done xpac) or b) a warcraft mobile game. i pay you 100 pizzas, when you get better results than 85/15…

If we get Dragon Isles I hope it stays true to the WC2 iteration. The whole expansion takes place on the body of a continent-sized dragon.
