Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.

Yeah, it really does and most of the beta impressions have been super good. I think a lot of people are going to be super surprised by it.
Any Warcraft mobile game can and should have the same amount of time and polish, and would likely be very well received.
At least if they do the announcement better lmao
This conversation is hurting my brain.
If they change the name of the Black dragonflight, that just shows that their internal thinking is (still) completely skewed. It was the same thing with the fruit paintings; replacing cleavage with fruit only showed us that Blizzard genuinely can't see someone's cleavage as anything except a cue/invitation to immediately sexually assault them. "And therefore such images must be purged from the game entirely so as not to entice us! Amirite, fellow devs?!"
All colors have symbolism, and black has been a symbol for mourning, darkness, witchcraft, mystery, the night, the unknown, death, evil, etc. since time immemorial. If you're incapable of associating the word "black" with anything other than black people, that's a you problem, not anyone else's.

Blizzard is great at being feigned progressive while being kinda tone deaf when it comes to representing genuine social nuance in their stories. In reality, the best way to have cultural competence and to have sensitivity is to be aware of differences and personal biases.
The Dragonflights having disparate cultures but finding union and common ground despite that is fine. It's a very real concern some chucklefuck would think it's a great idea to do some kind of misguided "we're all one race - THE HUMAN RACE" misunderstanding.
Dragonflight could just as easily mean nothing at all, though. It was a harmless jab.
It's really nothing special.
Silvermoon and Tirisfal revamps have been on the stock wishlists for god knows how long now.

Not sure why sadly. Potential success of DI does not diminish potential success of D4. It only attracts players to other game. Mobile games at their core are not some evil force that fucks over other, "legit" games. It just they happen to be easily monetized by more or less shitty means.

That's the current state of affairs, but there's still no canon black character of any consequence who isn't a bandit or a dragon. I'm surprised that Twitter hasn't gone on a jihad over it or over the fact that all good stems a blue-eyed blonde man from a hereditary monarchy.
Dickmann's Law: As a discussion on the Lore forums becomes longer, the probability of the topic derailing to become about Sylvanas approaches 1.
Tinkers will be the next Class confirmed.

The leading character in Exile's reach for Alliance (something ALL new players go through IIRC) is black with a black son.
This is literally just people making up misinformation then creating a fake group of people to get outraged at their misinformation. Very very strange behavior lol.
Black representation in WoW is fine.

Obsidian and Azure sound way better, yes.
Didn't expect this to segue into weird and sensitive territory so fast, it's literally a jab at how misguided it would be to homogenize all dragons to be one thing because the fucked up metaphor speaks for itself.
