Now living outside of time, Murozond was once the great Dragon Aspect Nozdormu the Timeless One. After the titans showed him his own death, the tormented Nozdormu was tricked by the Old Gods into trying to subvert his mortality. As a result, Nozdormu shattered the timeways and created the infinite dragonflight... jeopardizing the very future of Azeroth.

They can change and retcon that when they want.
    How often it happened before?

And they wil if they want.

Of course, they can change anything.

But they are better off ignoring that plot thread entirely, because it's just bad.

Indeed, the Horde fanbase, and in particular the Blood elf fanbase, hate Alleria Windrunner because she chose Family over Country and because she endangered the Sunwell (while ignoring how, for example, Warchief Sylvanas had blackmailed the Blood elves during the campaign in Northrend and completely ignored their pleas).

I think the problem with the Void elves is that they might be too "complex" of a race.

Think about it, humans, dwarves, night elves, gnomes, they are all pretty generic and bland fantasy stereotypical races.

But Void elves? They are unprecedented, no other franchise has this kind of race. And so, as with all unprecedented things, it might be that most people simply do not understand the complexity of the Void elves, who are NOT just "Dark elves", since they are not evil and sadistic.

It might be that they are too "ambitious" conceptually, so to say, but I am sure that once they get the spotlight, people will finally realize what gem of a race they have been ignoring for years.

People, after all, gravitate towards what they understand; but if something is too complex or "elusive", how can you expect people to care? That's fine though, as I said the Ren'dorei will play a major role in 10.0 so people will be made to care.

Apparently Galakrond's bones are missing from Dragonblight in 9.2.5 is this true? If true he is confirmed to be a boss in the next expansion.

It's worth noting that they've updated the map in the past to nothing just before SL as well.

Obviously it's far more likely to actually be a thing in a dragon themed expansion.

Jep. The bones got replaced with denathrius daily quest hub. Also kael Thas is there just because he can.

I just checked and they're still there. I believe there was a datamined map missing his bones, but I'm not even sure that dates to the 9.2.5 PTR.

That doesn't mean that they intended to create the Inifnite. Also doesn't explain how and why.
All known Old Gods are dead, with just Xal being around, and we don't know if she's an Old God or another thing.
But just say she's the one tricking Murozond so he change the past. Why do it? She is free because we killed all the others.
Unless she knows that she NEEds to do it so nothing changes...
Man, this is a mess xD

It’s only a mess if we assume he hasn’t already fallen
The dude was gone since MoP are we just going to pretend he doesn’t exist until then or is the very obvious possibility of him getting screwed with between then and the death of nzoth going to at least cross minds

Actually I would suggest that at least one Old God is still alive.

    To quote Danuser himself:

"To believe that there can only be one outcome in the fight with N'Zoth, would be to forget everything he taught us about Visions."

I wouldn't be so certain that they're gone if I were you. Even that cutscene where Magni says that Azeroth "is finally free from the grasp of the Old Gods", complete with cheerful triumphal music, seems like perfect material for some "Pepelaugh" memes down the line.

The King of Diamond was made a pawn... could it be that he is still a pawn?

lmao surely Chromie or whoever would be like "Oh yeah, Nozdormu is gone."

We haven't heard anything about him being missing or anything, he just doesnt show up. Hell, he was supposed to appear in 8.3 anyway.

I think the Thrall book explicitly states it, but the main reason the Old Gods (I mean, N'zoth, really) tried to turn Nozdormu is to prevent Thrall from interfering with the Hour of Twilight. Every single Infinite Dragonflight instance bar the Culling has to do with Thrall.
