Well a lot was cut from Cata and WoD as well and it didn't lead to magically faster expansions.

Yeah, imagine not knowing anything, right? Absolutely crazy in this day and age where everyone feels entitled to know everything as soon as humanly possible, either for boasting/trolling or just to make sure they're not missing out.
