You know, I'm not really upset about the change in theory, but in practice, it bothers me. Not because we can no longer see her as the confident, sexy dragon-lady like usual, oh no. That's certainly unfortunate, but there's a MUCH worse issue going on here...

THE OUTFIT DOESN'T MATCH! It looks like she put on a completely different body-suit and then slapped her usual bikini armor over top of it. That's HORRIBLE! Absolutely atrocious! If you're going to cover her up, you need to completely redesign her look from the ground up, just like you did with Jaina! This half-assed "oh Sylvanas' armor now has extra bits" nonsense is stupid! Ugh! /endrant

I want to stress that my point is not that they are ahead nor behind, just that the announcement is occurring much later in development than usual (April 2022 rather than November 2021). And I'm not going to die on this hill, it was just my way of explaining how a November release could be possible if it announced as such.

Oh I completely understand. That is indeed the only way to get a November release. I'm just saying it is still very unlikely to be true.

Now THAT is a valid concern. Honestly the Jaina redesign is great.

Which is true. The vast majority of complaints comes from people that can't even get the basic story right.

This information is available since yesterday, there aren't many details, but let's say few "key" ones. You can treat them however you like.
Anyway - on April 19, everyone will be able to preorder right after the presentation and expect the premiere in autumn 2022.

You literally quoted someone else who leaked Legion stuff and said "This" which many other people have done to other leaks that ended up real. This does not really give you any credibility.

Do you really want to pretend there is a major difference between: "Too stupid to understand the story" and "Ignorant of what the story actually about is"?

By the way even if we assume ithis is true, and not just Danuser biting off more than he can chew, that isn't really in favor of the story. Like it or not an MMO is there for mass appeal. There is probably a reason most MMOs don't try to tell a super deep story. Not because everyone besides Natsuko Ishikawa is a hack. But because they want most potential buyers to enjoy it. An Esoteric storyline like in Dreamfall would not work well in an MMO even if it were executed brilliantly. Not knowing your audience is a form of failure.

Anyone could guess that. We still haven't gotten a time/place(twitch?YT?) at this point. I would also expect some kind of schedule since they normally have multiple panels separate from the reveal at blizzcon. Not that hard of a guess.

Yes, it's obviously that we will get a post from Blizzard regarding next week's reveal. I am saying that "he" said we will get a post from Blizzard TODAY regarding next Tuesday's information.

It could be that you get the collector's edition/digital deluxe items immediately, but you have to wait for 9.2.5 to get any potential new race/class skin/whatever. I'm pretty sure that's what happened with allied races... preorder unlocked them but we had to wait for a patch to get them in game.

Yes, because not understanding something and not knowing something are two completely different matters. And not "what the story is about". They're ignorant of what the story is. I.e. they don't know the story proper, their complaints are just based on some random bits they snapped up.

For that matter, this lack has nothing to do with the story being to hard for them to understand (because it really isn't that complex) and a lot with them not bothering to even check what it is.

I think the majority of people who don't want spoilers can easily avoid them. I don't watch YouTube or twitch, and stay out of trade chat if I'm not in the mood to see spoilers. Just stay away from it if you really don't want to see it. I'm kinda old, so I'm probably not the best person to judge how to avoid stuff because for me it's as simple as not going to wowhead, here or the forums for a bit. I can understand that it's harder for other people.

I tend to avoid spoilers and I still got spoiled a couple of times on wowhead just by glancing at the screen while researching for an item, my eyes caught the name of the article that was something along the lines of "Four horsemen attack on the chapel of light scenario". They are the worst in the journalistic world.

A few days ago someone in this topic shared his discovery when looking into the js files on the official website and catching the name DragonFlight. Of course wowhead made an article about this but never once cited mmo-champion forums or the post in which he detailed how he caught of this...

Think it was the same for DH in WoD. You could get the pre-order bonuses like the mount, but had to wait until later to get the DHs.
