I'm expecting them to go back to a bare bones expansion after all the borrowed power complaints.

- Level to 70
- New Talent row at 70
- Gear up thru Mythic + / Raid / PvP
- Only way to get gear is thru the above
- 1 new rep per zone that'll have a few daily quests to do; no player power.
- Flying purchasable with gold upon reaching max level.
- 3 new raids; 1 with 8 bosses and 2 single boss raids that'll have a hard mode type activation like Sartharion.

World quests will be removed due to being unpopular, just a few dailies to advance reps in each zone. No new expansion feature like Garrisons/Order Halls/Islands/Covs. No more Emissaries or Callings.

That sounds dreadful and completely out of sync with modern WoW

I saw like 3 system designers from WoW team hyping tweet reveal, so I guess we can expect some new system-type-thing in new expansion. But i guess that's expected either way. I hope they improve and iterate over group finder feature more.

Blizzard used "august" (the adjective) to describe the next adventure in their reveal post, and the Aspects were empowered during an Embrace (When Azeroths moons touch in the sky) so we'll likely need another one of those to empower them again.

The Embrace is that celestial event that has to happen to empower an aspect or something along those lines. If the dragonflights return to power or want to, they'll likely need it.

August is used in the announcement of the preview. Its an odd choice of words.

Dunno man, there is no any info about shadowlands - s4 looks like canceled (or was bait to check players reaction) if they really want to push it to november.
Also, it's true that wotlk classic will be just 2 months before - if nothing will change (for now its scheduled for 09.22) - and it's weird af.

Another thing is that there is no name of "iconic villain" of 10.x but only one who (for me) fit the theme and place of expansion is Galakrond.
Someone wroted before about dragonsworn etc - no, class name is totally out of my mind. In first moment when I read that i thought "hello? we have mages already!". It's similiar to one spell name of arcane mage :P

Tier sets are definitely a thing though. And if they balance a bit on the lower end then the lack of Domination gear probably wouldn't be an issue at all.

And the thing with no rewards is that you would only need a longer season if you have rewards that require effort to get. Remove the rewards and the only reason left to have a longer season is to let everyone experience it, which isn't all that important given its old content anyways.

I’m not disagreeing but after the interview with Morgan I’m thinking maybe this season was designed to be shorter because of the insane catch up I guess but season 4 can be shorter so my thoughts maybe
6 month then 4 month because again season 4 is just the “hey don’t get bored” season with newer versions of OP mega dungeon gear

Not saying it’s not possible but don’t get too invested in that date

Again I’m not saying it’s not possible but I don’t see a November release even with prepatch because just looking at what that means for testing that’s barely 7 months

I mean, it wouldn't be hard to just say "That was Alt Yrel," in this timeline Yrel's parents were on the Justicar instead of the Exodar & is doing Xe'ra's will out in space right now.

Or that we don't really need her to be a villain. She simply set up the ideas that lead to Turalyon or even Calia to be a big light-based villain.

I don't think they'd want to immediately remind people the alternate timeline stuff makes no sense with what we learned in Shadowlands: You can't say every alternate timeline has its own shadowlands when Garrosh didn't die in this timeline, he died in the alt Draenor's timeline. And yet, he's in our Shadowlands.

I think this is Blizzard best opportunity to do more than just the usual panels, instead making longer individual panels, but spread out over a longer period of time.
It would stymie the drought, and would make each panel more worthwhile, instead of what we usual have where each panel might only have a tiny amount of actual info.

I'm sorry but that's a terrible idea. Only a very, very, very small fraction of players would want that.

Just give us the greater crux of info in one go, as per usual. It will be a really lacking experience to have to wait several weeks for each feature to be explained.

Why would they ever get rid of WQs? I don’t think anyone hates them, they just want more things to do outside of combat instances.

Hence why housing is very likely. Their last 3-4 combat gamemodes have either been hated or had mixed results... so why not do a system with no combat?
