I can't see them not adding a dps, but it would be kind of hilarious if they added a tank/healer 2 spec class

I think it would be cool if the class had 5 specs, possibly a tank, two healers, and two dps. I could see green/red spec being the healers, while black tanks. My only problem there would be figuring out how to make the blue spec not stomp on mage gameplay.
I'm not sure why no one here seems to have mentioned this yet, because it's such an unprecedented and game-breaking development, but with Anduin abdicating by remaining in the Maw and the full support of the House of Nobles (the aristocratic government of the Kingdom of Stormwind that handles the day-to-day affairs of the nation), Turalyon is now the de-facto King of Stormwind and High King of the Alliance; and thus, Alleria Windrunner is the de-facto Queen of Stormwind and High Queen of the Alliance.

Even if we have too much melees, if they release a class without any single melee spec or melee content, it's dead on arrival.

They may, or may not, cause that would mean another melee class, unless we have 4 specs, which i deem like "dream scenario" not "best scenario'. Going for one melee and one ranged dps, one healer and one tank.
They maybe could do 5 specs, for each dragonflight, and have two ranged and one melee dps:
Black = Tank(or melee DPS)
Blue = Ranged DPS
Bronze = Ranged DPS (or the tank with rewind time ability)
Green = Healer
Red = Ranged DPS
But this is "No fucking way scenario"
Well, this take me back in time of how we discussed what class would be in shadowlands omegaLUL
Yeah, see the problem I have with that is if you give it a melee DPS spec, you've pretty much made the perfect class. Why would anyone roll anything other than a dragon class when this one class does everything? This is why Druids are so popular, because they're so versatile. Take that versatility and crank it up a notch, and you have the reason why something like this needs to be dialed back and limited.
BTW, I'm only playing Devil's advocate because I would roll a Nightborne and play the fuck out of a blue dragon-based spellblade spec.

I honestly don't think that would be THAT problematic. Healer only is problematic because healers usually are painful to level in their own spec. Tanks are not since at least MoP. Most of the tank specs are exceptional for open world and solo content. Sure your ST might be poor but you never die and your AoE is often equal or even better than what most dps can manage, especially solo (since you can pull much more than they ever can).
On one hand my answer would be that many people would struggle to abandon their mains because they may well be playing those classes for two decades, having over a hundred exalted reps, done all quests, developed much of the expac specific content with them.
ON the other hand, even though I am a diehard paladin main, if we got a cool dragon class I would be VERY tempted to switch. Heck I'd even redo the past xpac grinds to get my new main to the same level of completion.
No, you would still have a RDPS spec.

The stupid thing about all of this is that Blizzard already has a skeleton of a class right there.
This may sounds crazy idk, but i think the new race will use the skeleton of the dreanei race as a base. Imo i see some similarities with Drakonids. With the draenei legs, tails and horns, it made sense to me. You know, just like the vulpera race has the goblin skeleton as a base.
So this new Drakonid-like race will be the main inhabitants of the Dragen Isles. They specialize in evoking powers of certain dragonaspects to use in battle, which is going to be the new majestic class.

That's what I'm saying. What keeps Druid in check is that not everyone wants to look at a Bear's ass while they're tanking, or be a giant Space bird when doing RDPS. However, you take all the strengths of a Druid class and you give the player MORE spec options and the ability to be a human or any elf they want and it's a wrap. You would have a class so overbearing (and awesome) that it actually harms the game.
