Not gonna lie, if its a Chrono-based class, I will be kinda salty if they take anything from Arcane Mages, as that's my main.

Hopefully they don't get demolock'd. I still think a dragon class has so many possibilities it would be kind of dumb to just focus on that flight for the whole class.

It probably isn't fake. But technically only the title can be 100% trusted. Untill the reveal everything has to be treated as the mathematician joke:

Granted when we speculate we have to operate on the assumption that pictures, old maps or 4chan posts are real. But a theory shouldn't be dismissed just because it contradicts something not officially confirmed.

Again, it’s possible that it’s not, but considering that the title is Dragonflight, I would say there’s a high chance she’s on the cover. Also, I could imagine Blizzard wanting to base a new class on a female character. It’s just good PR.

Bronze Chronomancy has a very different aesthetic and theme than arcanes few time spells though.

I’m not outright dismissing your argument, I’m simply pointing out that Brayard Wu Alexstraza art wouldn’t be difficult to find on the web unless it’s locked behind a NDA.

Evoker/Invoker had occurred to me too.

Could theme this around "Invoking" the power of the Dragonflights rather than the elements.

It's possible we have a breakdown like this: Black = Tank - Blue/Bronze = ranged DPS Green/Red = healer. We're going to get 3 specs at most, and I think 2 is more realistic, but I would love to be wrong.

Based on what they have said, assuming they do actually have insider info, I think we can safely narrow down the class to Chronomancer/Timewalker/Evoker/Invoker.

I think either way it is going to be an Intelligence based casting class.

Assuming Scaleface is telling the truth, I'm still confused by what he was trying to say. Did he mean that the new class is similar to DH + Pandaren, or that the expansion has races and classes, similar as in, adding a new race and a new class in the same expansion?

I assumed he was talking about having maybe a new neutral race, and adding special cosmetic for the other races that can be the new class.

You are right though mages in general borrow it from time to time (Felo'melorn and Aluneth both have Time/Sand based appearances). So I'm feeling possessive, heh.

Does it? I give it a 60-40 of being her honestly. I don't think it's especially not, but:

Not really anything like her typical pendant, which is huge and on a chain. It almost looks like just some part of the body. If it's the pendant, it's been significantly redesigned.

I also think it's real weird her horn bands aren't actually consistent between the Alextrasza and the background dragon. Odd since her bands have always been rounded and are seemingly still rounded in human form--why are they all jagged and evil-y in dragon form now?

That's a great point to bring up, I don't think we can because the quality is so low though.

I looked at all the leaks that mention Chrono-something. FAG does not go into details. ANF says they can slow down damage or hasten other heals. LOFO says they use dots that tick faster the more you heal.

TBH, since her outfit has been redesigned, it makes sense to redesign the dragon a bit too. Also there are images on the web of dragons standing in front of their drake forms. Especially HotS art.

Yeah, that part especially doesn't strike me as strange, if anything it makes sense to me.

Though I dunno if it is her, there's a few too many differences. But could be.

Pretty sure its too blurry to be able to discern smaller details like that. You can't even see the "of" instead of the O for instance.

Her... fins? Scale things? on her neck are still very bright red.
I think its just the weird lighting, paired with Brayard Wus art style that makes her appear extra purple, he made her shadows have a purple tinge in the offical art as well. (see third image you linked)

And I don't really think its weird at all, its standard 'heroic pose' with the characters 'true self' being showcased behind them.

Blizzard is very fond of depicting their dragons that way, all of Alex's HotS art is basically her standing in front of herself.
Chromies art has her also stand in front of herself a lot, Kalecgos and Ysera have also such art pieces.

I think the fact he didn't mention Death Knights is telling; Demon Hunters and Monks are the two post-launch classes tied to specific races, elves for DHs and pandaren for Monks.

So my guess is that the new class is tied thematically to a specific race, and may be limited to that race. The same may work in reverse; if we get drakonid or whatever, they may only be able to be Dragonsworn.

Kinda like a Hero Race, I guess.

So basically a neutral dragon race. Then DH-like customizations for all the races that can be this new Invoker class.

I could see this. Especially with them using Alexstrasza as a promo character. It would be just like Legion when they obviously tried to sell you could be just like Illidan while rolling a new Demon Hunter.
