People who don't want anything new always baffle me.
it's a continuous gaming service. It's going to keep adding new content, and in order to keep people it needs to occasionally add fully new things. Classes, races, what have you. Coupled with the community backlash against powered power, the go-to addition that isn't those two things, they really have to bring something actually new for people to play.
Iterating on the same 12 classes isn't going to bring numbers back up, and even then, we've seen them (last time they had to "break class in case of subs") actually do both, creating a bunch of new content for the existing classes *and* add a new one. And the game is in a worse state playerwise than it was back then, just by looking at raw participation data.
But I guess there are people who eat the same 3 flavors of ice cream and never get tired of it. I'll never, ever understand them, but I'm glad the game is made for both of us.
As I wroted to You in other thread:
Back in the time, some time before gamescom we saw a cut trailer and a lot of cutscenes, there were a few things described in the forum, and they were literally true. You have a short memory, since you don't remember the cutscenes in which the DH army was trained, and you don't remember the cave in which Guldan looked at the crystal is described - yes, surely everything was "accidentally" hit and made up
Relax, because in DH also no one believed ...
You're too angry, looks like Tinker fan... :P

Can we wrangle one more clue out of you, @Scaleface?

Hopes/Wants:
-a longer announcement with a lot of information since we are getting a "later than typical" reveal
Will be just as happy IF:
-the announcement isn't too long, but just enough
-we get several small videos, interviews, or additional info in the hours/days post announcement to "wet people's appetites"
What I am excited for:
-watching/re-watching the announcement video, stream, trailers, cinematics (whatever gets released) over and over again
-Stalking the official expansion website for specific details on any new race(s), class(es), features, etc.
That is the Demon Hunter starting area. That is not Gul'dan looking into a mirror. That is not Illidan training his Demon Hunters. That is the Black Temple being invaded and Illidan sending his already trained Demon Hunters on a mission to Mar'dum to get the Sargerite Keystone.
Weird how 7 years ago you were not able to give any of those details, even though you saw the entire thing.

What did he say about Argus?
@Scaleface can u give us another hint pleaaasee![]()

S0 is this the 7.0 speculation thread now?

Idk why everyone’s so hostile towards this guy. He claims he has a connection who isn’t high up and shares tidbits of information. He accurately predicted the demon Hunter class, gul’dan in a cave looking into a crystal LOL, and “something about big weapon modifications” which turned out to be the artifact weapon system. Like obvi those aren’t just lucky guesses. You’re all targeting specific details like “WhIcH pLanEt WaS iT On” Bro, his connection wasn’t the ceo of blizz he’s just piecing info together… god ppl are so annoying. Why be on a speculation/ leak thread if you don’t believe anything
Anyone else annoyed at how early in the day they're doing the announcement? I was hoping for like, an evening reveal. I'm a night shifter, I'm still in bed at noon est lol
Scaleface said what he did at the time based on third-hand information from someone else who saw some sort of video (this is mentioned in his posts). While he got some stuff right, he also got some stuff wrong whether it was a wrong guess or miscommunicated along the way/lost in translation. Again, this was 7 years ago and we're all looking at it with the benefit of hindsight. We have no surefire way of knowing of what he said back then being a few lucky guesses or actual information from his "friend at Blizz" and I don't think it's helpful to fill up the thread in posts discussing everyone's interpretation/opinions on what he said.
If anything, focus on what he said now or move on altogether only to reflect on his (and all the other leaks) post-announcement.
